Satchmo

Satchmo is what you might consider an ordinary tomato frog. If you were to disregard his size, that is, for he is about the size of a large rabbit: With hind legs outstrechted in a jump he reaches nearly 25 inches in length.

Having been the biggest tadpole in the pool when he was young and emerging the waters as an already formidable predator he has little care the world; in fact, the world around him is conveniently easy to understand: He goes by the simple rules his father would have taught him if he had ever met him:

- If it doesn't move, don't bother.
- If it does move and is smaller than you, eat it.
- If it does move and is bigger than yourself - get away as fast as you can jump!
- If it does move, or if it might move, and it is your own size, hump it. Who knows.

He is, however, mortally afraid of snakes and snake-like creatures like nagas or lamias.

Quirk: He considers himself a great singer. Others describe his singing as undescribable. But all would agree that his rendition of 'Amazing Grace' is, well, amazing.
