Meet Seishin. Seishin is, to put it as simply as possible, a ghost. This is her story....
She has forgotten who she was in life. She may have been a sweet kind girl, or she may have been a wickedly evil one, or perhaps she was somewhere in between. In any case, that life is now behind her. Years after her death, she began to become the girl she is today. It all began when the ferryman tried to take her across the river Styx. She didn't want to go. She began to fight back, though this was hardly a first for the Ferryman. What WAS a first, however, is that she stole his Launch pole ((That thing that people use when in a gondala, the long stick that touches the bottom under the water)), and began to use it as a weapon against him! As she swung and spun that pole, energy began to collect from the river, the energy of souls who were not yet ready to depart. these souls collected within what was now Seishin's bowstaff, and formed it into a type of...double scythe, which she used to frighten the ferryman, so much so that he tried shoveing her into the river right there! However, something quite unexpectd was the result...
She had fallen onto the water....but didn't sink! Beneath her, in her reflection, she was being held up by the duo-scythe she now held, which contained the souls of those who were not yet ready to leave this world. While holding that scythe, she could not fall into the river Styx. She stood up upon the water, seeing that this was true, and she began to run! Back the way she had come, back to this world! She refused to cross over. For many years she dwelled within this world, and any time she came near water, it would become the river Styx, beckoning to her, stronger with each passing day. But with it's strength, hers grew as well. She began to change, until finally, she was no longer a simple spirit. She was something new. A spirit that had dwelled within this world far too long, she had an emptyness inside, but also a deep power. She fills the emptyness by devouring the living, and she uses this power to help her hunt.
And this is how you find her today. With the new name she made for herself. Seishin Arashi, the Spirit Storm.
