SeruOath

SeruOmen... not the best of guys. Pretty contemptible, unpredictable, and all around generally unlikeable.

Who would have ever thought there had been a timeline where Seru became an upholder of law, order, justice and truth?

This Seru was imbued with righteous power and raised to inherit a kingdom- a white knight, a prince in shining armor.

Not to say Seru will play hero where he has no place stepping in. He knows and recognizes he is not in his adoptive father's kingdom anymore, and until he understands his position here entirely, as well as the law, and the balance of things, he will be slow to take action that may result in political or social unrest.

So, how did he get here? Well, he was lured here in pursuit of a dark spirit that had ravaged a village in flame and devoured its people. After becoming stuck her, finding that monster is only his secondary purpose- he wants to return to his own world.


Appearance

Oath, while the same age as his more corrupt counterpart, looks significantly younger- perhaps from having a less harsh life, or perhaps from being imbued with magic.

He is just the slightest bit taller- 5'7" compared to Omen's 5'6". He is in good physical condition, and is fairly strong for his build.

He keeps his hair at a medium length- any longer and it curls like crazy.




Skills

Seru is a skilled swordsman, and imbued with a magic that gives him an edge, specifically against evil opponents. However, he is inexperienced in fighting anything more than thieves and maiden-eating beasts. The power of some of the beings he has seen here is unheard of in his own land.

He earnestly dislikes fighting anyway- his diplomacy is a much greater skill, in his own eyes.


Demeanor

Seru tries- though doesn't always succeed- in being understanding. He gets that people come from all different types of lives, and he cannot judge someone's lifestyle- though he strongly disagrees with the lifestyles of those who gain from harming others.

The only point in which he will be completely unyielding is his feelings on bacon. He hates bacon.




His Belief System

Unlike Paladins, Seru's style of Holy Knight draws upon the Faith in Man. He literally draws upon the power of his people's faith in him and in each other, and in turn, cannot access this power without believing in others.

This power can fail- despair, hopelessness, anything that can shatter one's faith in people, can weaken him very much.


And yes, for those wondering. Playing Seru as a legitimate goodguy DOES hurt my brain as much as it hurts yours. In fact, every time this Seru says "Hmm", it is the player's way of repressing the urge to say something cruel. If you look at the logs, Oath says "Hmm" a lot.
