Shadwyn

Bullied. Abused. Outcast. Weird little loner. Emo. Goth. Different. It was only a matter of time before she lashed out, really.

Therese Jones, prefering her chosen moniker of Shadwyn, tried taking it in stride. She did! But a girl can only take so much. She wasn't the sort to just go out and get a weapon to terrorize her highschool with, though. That wouldn't have fit her aesthetic. Instead she turned to the occult. Big old dusty tomes, websites, she'd try anything that promised a spell or ritual that might open the gates of vengance!

"People are scum. Trash. So I'm going to treat all of you like what you are."

Imagine her surprise when one actually worked. All it cost was a little chanting, a few bits of plant and fungus, a little bit of her blood. Suddenly the little seventeen year old wasn't so little. The rite increased her size tenfold, putting her in the neighborhood of fifty feet tall. Even her clothing and jewelry was upscaled to match. And since she'd cast the rite on school grounds, out behind the gym, she was in the perfect place to begin her rampage.

It didn't matter who they were any more. Shadwyn didn't have any real friends, but even the classmates and staff who had never directly wronged her felt her wrath. Playthings, food. They weren't even human to her any more, just things....or rather, she saw humans as things. Things that exist only for her enjoyment.

So how did it all end? It hasn't. After the destruction of her school, she remained at her new size, so why stop? She simply moved on, turning her new sense of power on the rest of the city, and the next, and the next. No longer would she be the one downtrodden; it was time for her to do the treading!
