Shaniela, also called Shan for short, is a canine, for those who don't know what a canine is ... it's some kind of wolf. She's a shapeshifter who has both a human and an feral form besides her ususal anthro form. Since it's no longer dangerous for her people to show their true nature in public she preferes to stay in her anthro form though most of the time wearing a shirt and a skirt both rather cheap to cover her sensual parts in public, cheap from a practical reason, clothes don't like it when she shapeshifts into her feral form.
She grew up in the late years of the roman empire... yes she's practiacally an old woman... but don't ever dare to call her old she knows people who are much older than she is and she would turn you into a bloody mass before you know what's happening to you.
In that times she lived with her family and her pack unnoticed among the humans although it was hard to explain for her parents why they didn't age but they lived in a distant settlement on their own with their pack so nobody of importance did really recognize them.
When the Roman Empire did fail they locked themselves in the village for houndrets of years until the church started to sent people to investigate what did happen to them not knowing of course that it still were the same people. They decided to split up and every family did make it on their own, Shaniela though was old enough at that time to start her own family but she didn't find a male to do it, yet, when the had to split up so she politely declined her parent's offer to live with them and started a live on her own.
In the following centuries she spent her days wandering the earth although she tried to avoid ships best she could, she never liked being on water where her nature as a canine didn't help her at all, sometimes she did spent weeks and months in her feral form, following a pack of wolfes or something, nearly forgetting about her sentient nature, the insticts close to overwhealming her. Her anthro form was something she rarely used as she could neither be among the humans with it nor could she use the strenght of her feral form.
In our days that doesn't really matter anymore though and today she doesn't use her human and her feral form that often, people accepted them for who and what they are, even though some humans tend to stay away from her kind since some of her species are known to eat humans alive not for food reasons, there's plenty of other things to eat, more for the fun of it. Is Shaniela one of them? Maybe...
Today Shaniela is living in a rather normal apartment and she loves chaos and spreads it around her, she has quite a number of friends and she most likely isn't that dangerous. She loves to spent time with just fooling around not nescessarily going into sexual things that she safes for her closest friends and will most likely show them if she wants more than cuddlings than wait to be approached.
Shaniela is rich just for the record, she did spent her money in the right companies and holds a good part of the most important ones.
