Basic Overview
A reanimated corpse created and pieced together by one, Rin Kaenbyou. As opposed to tossing them into the furnace as a means of fueling it's fire, Rin had been tinkering with other corpses and piecing them together into new things and, although the hobby was fun, she soon found herself curious on what would become of the corpse if she ever tinkered with it...in terms of magic. To satisfy this new found curiosity, Rin began to study deeper into the Dark Arts, working more into Necromancy in an effort to bring a dead body back to life.
As Rin studied more and more into Necromancy, she also began gathering different body parts and organs from the various youkai corpses she carried off to the Hell of Blazing Fires; combining all of them into one ultimate 'Frankencorpse' (as Rin calls it). After giving her creation a 'Lionheart', and other parts from powerful youkai, Rin began calling forth her newfound prowess in Necromancy, using the dark ritual to recall a human soul from the after life and lodge it into the corpse. The frankencorpse soon came to life there after, seeming to retain no memories of his past life, at least not yet. With this, Rin named the corpse, 'Shitai-kun'.
Shitai-kun, eats corpses and decaying matter that was left behind by Rin, thus earning him the job as the 'Janitor' of the Hell of Blazing Fires. The knife in his head is due to Rin jamming it into his skull during a...frustrating moment, during her studies and practice in Necromancy. The knife is embedded so far into his head that it refuses to come out. Shitai will sometimes lose body parts at random, but only if his stitches aren't tightened or replaced regularly. Interestingly enough, if Shitai-kun were to ever get a nosebleed, the blood would spurt from the knife wound in his head and not his nose.
Personality
Despite being made with an independent mind, and thus capable of intelligent thought, Shitai is still rather slow on the uptake. Sometimes freezing up and staring off into space with a blank and rather dazed look, this is due to his brain either 'locking up' during a throught process or him thinking too hard and causing his brain to sorta...BSoD for a while. Jiggling the knife in his head is said to snap him out of this BSoD and return him to his normal thought processes.
Otherwise, Shitai-kun is rather chill and, often times, doesn't mind company or others approaching him. He does have somewhat of a lazy streak in him, said streak only appearing at random intervals rather than being a continuous personality trait. It's theorized that, this is but one of the original dispositions of his past self, the self that belonged to the soul used to revive him. As of now, no other personalities from his original soul owner have surfaced. However, those of the youkai that were used to build his body seem to be embedded in his persona...and although he likes to eat dead things, his youkai traits have a tendency to compel him to partake on human flesh sometimes.
Likes: He's not entirely sure, but he does like eating quite a bit. Long walks/strolls seem to also be a liking for him.
Dislikes: Water, Sunlight, Holy based items and magic (they seems to really 'sting' as stated by him).

ABILITIES AND COMBAT
Combat Abilities
Corpse Manipulation: An odd ability that arose in Shitai-kun after his revival. The power itself, while implying a much wider use, seems to only be confined to Shitai-kun at the moment, and is usually brought out when he devours something dead and uses his powers to break the corpse down and add it to his body in someway. While still keeping his old form, Shitai-kun can sprout these parts when ever necessary but, after a certain number of uses they 'decompose' and rot into his body, becoming inaccessible to him.
Necrofection Talon: Shitai-kun has talons/claws which are...rather unclean and dirty. If anyone's scratched by them and the attack manages to break the skin, the germs from Shitai's claws enter the opponents body and they start to exhibit flu-like symptoms. This is infact due to pathogen that causes the users body to fall under a process known as 'zombification' which is essentially, living beings being turned into Zombies. The same can be said for his teeth and saliva. If the victim doesn't find medicine, preferably disinfectant soon, they will soon find themselves succumbing to the zombification germs and transform into a zombie.
Mana of Oblivion: An odd type of magical energy that is produced by Shitai-kun and allows him to call form darkened beams of corruptive energy, or coat his already potent claws in the same type of corrosive energy. The energy itself, while damaging, has the effect of both poison and may even weaken the victim's powers for a short period of time. It's even theorized that this is the reason behind Shitai's ability to turn others into zombies...
Latent Attributes
Immortal Body: A latent attribute that simply means that Shitai-kun is immune to being killed by normal means. Physical assaults do very little to harm him and, as such, he can take quite a bit of punishment and still rise to continue the battle.
Beast Scent: Having the body parts/organs of various beast youkai has it's perks, in this sense, Shitai-kun is gifted with heightened animal like senses that make him slightly more in tune with his surroundings but, doesn't seem to negate his slow working brain as he can easily forget someone's in the area if he BSoDs during his last thought process.
Corpse Revival: A latent attribute stemming from his ability to manipulate corpses. So long as his soul remains intact, Shitai-kun can regenerate using his ability to recall the cells of his previously eaten corpses and reconstruct his body accordingly. Granted his appearance will certainly change and, unless he eats something soon, his body parts will begin to rot off again.

Circle_of_Jermod, and most of my preferances are about the same for this character as they are for my other ones. Shitai is largely predatory, him being prey can be discussed, however.
