Grown on the streets of various cities, Amber had learned to survive. She had learned from
a young age to never trust anyone that you couldn't throw, and had always followed that
logic. She scavanged and scounged. Worked for men with dark intentions and fought for
freedom to once again roam the streets. A clever pick pocket, Amber has also resorted to
car jacking to feed that ever bottomless alcoholic thirst. Lets not forget the cigarettes
either...
Then came one day to remember. Word on the street spoke of a promising reward if you were to
go through a series of 'tests' . What exactly these 'tests' were weren't entirely her concern. With
her eyes on the prize, the half asian woman agreed to all the jabs of needles. Hell she injected
worse substances into her own arms when she was 15! The hours of X-rays. Those were just
like a walk on the beach really... The odd colored lights she was asked to sleep under... Like
watching a movie in your sleep... The pain ment nothing to her, hell, it was how she could tell
she was alive.
But... Then she woke up one morning.. And found her mildly tanned skin... to be a transparent
violet. With a flex of her fingers... Her new skin looked as though she were made of liquid
glass. The men in white coats told her this was just a temporary gig... But that didn't make
things any better. Two weeks had passed... She watched 'them' take sample by sample. You
can say it was a little disturbing to watch a man scoop some of your own body without saying
a word. The sensation was odd to say the least. She felt as though she were living an acid
trip... This couldn't be real.. They'd find her a cure... They promised.
One evening, while sitting in her private room, she'd over hear the guard. A talk about
'freezing the specimen' came to utter, wishing to end her life as a guiuae pig... the blob
woman chose to take action. With a cast of her scrubs she'd let go... feeling herself melt
away. Fear filled her mind as gravity carried her into invisible cracks, where she'd drip.
Hours later, when they discovered her missing... she found herself whole again within a
storage room several floors down. Shocked by her recent actions... she managed to sneak
away while maintaining her humanoid form. Never again... she'd mutter... Never.
Those who were unlucky to cross her path found a quick end. Clothes were needed to
hide her secret.. She wished to return to the streets, to remain under the radar... It
worked... for weeks.. But then... The hunger pains started.... What will Amber do?
Well, you'll just have to wait and find out. Won't you?
