A little history of Taka Sohei
The Sohei family could trace its roots back to the early 8th century, the name itself originated with fighting monks and wandering mystics. The Sohei family carried on that proud tradition as well, training their family members to face down the worst of the underworlds demons and evil spirits. Today the last of the Sohei line faces difficult challenges ahead, living to serve her lineage in bearing children with the hopes of carrying her family line. Or to die in service, fighting the evils around her to the bitter end. The choices she makes the fulcrum upon which the fate of the family rests.

Taka herself comes from old money, rarely seen alone in the streets without her driver or someone from her household staff unless she is out doing the things her family is secretly famous for. Obviously no longer in school except for the days she visits with a trainer of sorts who puts her through her paces. Her normal life is not riddled with things that would give away her nightly profession, she seems to be nothing more than a quiet rich lady to those barely scratching the surface of who she is.

The Sohei family was once given a blessing from the priests of the mountains, it became the calling card of her families duties and was recognized throughout the underworld as an instrument of death should they ever view it. The Red Blade, a weapon forged from the talon of a dragon as the tales tell of its origins yet truly no one knows who or what made this marveled blade. The Red Blade has felled countless demons, undead and even ghosts, sending them back to the shadows from whence they came and the sword returns to the hand of Taka with but a single whisper.

Taka is also blessed with the ability to use scroll spells, a talisman with characters inked on paper usually to seal a demon or evil spirit in place to either capture or subdue the opponent so she could let the Red Blade do its work. She is not versed in making them without help so she always has a healthy stack of the talismans on hand, just in case she has the need to use them. Demons and undead seem to be the most vulnerable to her talismans, but they are not fool proof. More than once she was taken by surprise when her talismans did nothing to her foes.

Preferences
Taka is played in a modern setting, she is for todays world not the medieval times. Taka is NOT a predator, maybe a micro here and there but she does not look for food outside of her kitchen. I repeat...because some people seem fuzzy on this...Taka is NOT a predator.
Now she is a warrior, but I will not play just to fight for the sake of fighting. There must be VORE or play time in some capacity, not just an eighty minute fight scene.
