A little context:
Siezsha comes from a world where demons are highly prevalent. In order to protect themselves, the different kingdoms
employ various strategies. The kingdom Siezsha lives in finds girls exceptionally gifted in magical talent, and
takes them "for the good of the empire", giving the family large sums of money in payment, and train the women up
to be incredibly powerful clerics.
These clerics undergo a ritual when their training is done, and are given a geas. This makes them blind, mute,
and deaf. They cannot see, hear, or speak, but in exchange have immensely powerful abilities to heal and protect
and are used to generate massive shields around the cities to protect them. However, they are incapable of using
any kind of offensive magic. They are not allowed use their magic to intentionally kill or hurt, only protect.
So how do they communicate? They can telepathically connect to those nearby, and talk that way to a chosen few.
Siezsha is one of these clerics. She has unimaginably powerful protective abilities, but cannot attack.
I cannot obtain an adequate picture of a blind human cleric (for some reason).
