Silverstreak

Bio: Silver is a gryphon hailing from a very distant land, where he grew up and learned to fly. Right off the bat, he was very fast, able to easily beat his siblings in every race he was challenged to. As he grew older and his wing muscles developed, he gained the nickname 'Streak' from his friends and observers.

His special ability caught the attention of the postal service of a nearby village, who were fascinated by his remarkable speed and agility. He was employed by the humans as a messenger, and quickly gained fame with his incredibly speedy deliveries. He was able to outpace all of their horsemen, and even some of their vehicles.

During his time among the humans, he has gained all sorts of odd trinkets on his body, including bandages on his legs, a black leather harness around his torso, and shiny silver bracelets around his scaly front ankles. His most treasured possession, however, is the clean white scarf around his neck. It was given to him by a small boy in return for retrieving a stolen toy from a local crook. He has worn it to this day, keeping it clean and rip-free, and he seems unlikely to part with it.

After years of performing work for the town, the speedy gryphon decided to leave; partly due to a desire to explore the rest of the world, but mainly due to the town's destruction by a burrowing riftworm. He was able to help evacuation efforts, and over half the town's population was saved. Grateful for his assistance, they allowed him to fly free.

Heading off into the sunset, the gryphon flew for many days, stopping only to sleep. His travels have brought him to the park, where he currently resides and interacts with the locals.

Recently, he has come into possession of some useful magical items as a result of his exploration of the park's lake and some trading with the magic merchant Fabhar. The current list is as follows:

A ring which allows him to change to an anthro form

A tribal spear that can be summoned and dismissed at will

A blue orb which grants him affinity over water, such as faster swimming and the ability to breath underwater

A white necklace that offers protection from demons

Magical power and the ability of magic nullification

A very large book with nearly all known spells within it, including some evil ones near the back

A satchel which can hold an infinite amount of items and stretch to take in large objects

While trying to remove the shrinking curse on Onyx, it seemingly lashed out in defense and infected Silver, thus shrinking him to 6 inches as well. Thanks to some timely (and painful) handwork from Fabhar, he has been returned to his normal size.
