Appearance: Johann is a lean, athletic specimen of a man. Standing at 5'10" and usually clad in the armour of his station, he can come off
as extremely imposing to many. His straw blonde hair is usually kept short to ensure that it fits comfortably in his helmet, and his face -
handsome if not perhaps a bit boyish when compared amongst other more mature chevaliers - is marred by a noticeable scar across the bridge
of his nose which starts near his cheek and extends nearly to his brow, as well as another smaller scar near the line of his jaw. His eyes
are expressive even in spite of their muted brown pigmentation, and are usually accompanied by an annoyed frown which seems to permeate the
knight's features even when he is at rest.

Brief Backstory: Johann Ricard belongs to a noble, land-owning lineage and was once a land-owning gentleman himself. But at some point after
he inherited his father's title, the newly anointed knight forfeited it all in order to take up arms against his liege, motivated not by
self-interest but by the plight of the serfs that worked his fields. Though his cause was just and his conviction was great, it is said that
the result was a war-torn land filled with famine and suffering, and his rebellion was ultimately suppressed. Now a knight in exile, he
seeks out new lands to try and liberate. Peasants occasionally speak of him with a tone varying from curious apprehension to impassioned
eagerness. The gentry know his name too, speaking it with everything from incredulousness to barely concealed fright. Then again, how
dangerous can one man be?

Personality: Johann is a very passionate individual, going above and beyond in the propagation of his ideals and advocating his utopian
views within every possible context. His methods, however, are far more unsettling than the ends they mean to achieve. Violence, ransacking
and revolution are his specialties, and the knight has a gift for charisma with the poor and downtrodden. Whether this is moral or not, his
talent for fomenting revolt remains legendary and also indiscriminate, leading many to postulate that his unadulterated bitterness towards
the upper class might be manipulated in the right direction.

Johann's greatest weakness by far is his sense of self-importance. Without him, no revolution would occur, no peasants would be liberated.
Anything of him - even his mere memory - is enough to stoke the fires of liberty, and to some degree he may be correct. However, this can
easily make him overconfident. He is happy to win glory for himself and his cause, even if that means attempting great feats, and this can
compound with his ego in order to get him into trouble as well. While his regular targets are haughty kings and nobles, he will not
hesitate to put down a beast or scourge if it will protect the people or bring himself prestige.

Other: Two things.
-Aspects of this character are adjustable, and his presentation varies widely depending on who he plays with. He might be heroic people's
champion in one rp and a bloodthirsty revolutionary in the next.
-Johann Ricard is based off of a real life man named Florian Geyer who lived in the 16th century and fought the German Peasant's war. He's
a very interesting, slightly controversial historical figure. That's not actually important, it's just interesting.
