Siry was once a servant girl of the great kingdom of Nimori, a powerful Mermaid populous in the warm south seas, That was, until her kingdom was ravished by a pack of trained sharks, and shark men/women, swallowing and slaughtering. the kingdom, Siry sworn to defend her queen until her dieing breath did so with honor, only to have been swallowed by a great wite shark man, whole and alive the girl thought her death swift by digestion, only to find herself regurgitated on the deck of a boat.

Now unable to breath, and covered in sticky bile Siry fought for her life as she was collared and rather unceremoniously ushered into an awaiting tank of salt water. Realizing this as her fate became depressed as she was sold to the highest bidder, a man who owned a Large company building a fish tank in his office to where she lives, able to swim around a little bit, but completely unable to hide from his monstrous view completely naked and view able by any of his visitors

A few years later to the present day his business failed, and he lost everything, she stood by watching in half bliss as he shot himself in the mouth. leaving her once again to die in a fish tank without food. until she was rescued by the police and dumped into the parks lake. almost drowning in the fresh water. until her body coped. Now she lives in a small cave at the bottom of the lake terrified of humans, and anthros alike thinking them all the same.

Being afraid dosn't mean she isn't capable to defend herself, having been forced to drown at least one man who tried to catch her with a hook, leaving scars in her cheeks.

Lore says that if she was to kiss someone who was drowning, that she would save their life granting them the ability to breath water, unfortunately however, if she does this, then they will not be able to return to the surface.
