The past and present life of Azares the bounty hunter

(Note: I do not play every character mentioned in this profile.)

Past

Azares was born into a wealthy family of demons in the country of Treilosi located in the Underworld. Making up his family was his father, Magnus, his mother Devina, his older sister Vita, his twin sister Suerta, and his younger sister Morta. Growing up as the only son, one would have expected Azares to be less rough and tumble than other incubi but he wasn't; he was just as tough as anyone due in no small measure to the abuse he'd taken from his older sisters, namely Suerta. Ironically the same abuse that made him tough also traumatized him to a certain extent. His sisters would beat him and treat him as a slave, often forbidding him to fight back citing that a male should never raise his hand to a female, and if he did such a thing they would abuse him twice as hard.

Azares had become so accustomed to that torment that he developed a subconscious mistrust of females, especially cute ones. Just being in their presence made him incredibly uneasy and the fear that crept into his mind made calling up his full power near impossible. Suerta, who was likely the biggest contributor to that fear, one day she came up with the idea that eating her twin brother Azares would give her the power to help her achieve her goal of overthrowing her entire family. After being eaten and nearly digested by Suerta, Azares was sent by his parents to the mortal realm for his protection while his wicked sister was locked up in a dungeon.

Azares’ memories of his past in the Underworld had been suppressed along with the physical traits of his demonic heritage. The human couple that he was entrusted to took care of him as they were told to but never for a second told themselves that Azares was their child and they treated him thusly. Azares grew up dealing with this distant relationship with his human parents by becoming a loner. It certainly didn’t help that his white hair and silver-ish colored eyes caused him to be target of more bullying. By the age of 15, he’d had enough. Azares ran away from home and dropped out of school, choosing to live on the streets and survive by thieving. He was on a collision course with the police and would likely have spent years in prison for his crimes but fortunately he was intercepted by a mysterious person who goes by the name Prometheus. Prometheus, or the creepy old man as Azares knows him, took Azares in and employed him as a bounty hunter.

His targets were all monsters or criminals, and although he had to kill he doing the right thing in ridding the world of such dangerous threats - that's what the creepy old man told him and that's what he came to believe. It wasn't long before the PTCA was after him. Azares spent many days and nights trying to understand why this organization wanted to put an end to him when he was only making the world a better place. It all came crashing down one day when a team of PTCA agents tried to kill him in an ambush and he was forced to fight his way out, killing all but one agent. While in hiding to recoup from the ambush he was contacted by the creepy old man and informed that it was he who tipped the PTCA off to his whereabouts. That was all that the young incubus had been told by the creepy old man before the call was ended. Azares was left only with reality that he had been betrayed and he had no where to turn for help.

Present

At 18 years of age, Azares now wanders the world trying to salvage what he can of his life. He faces a steep uphill battle though. Among the many challeges that will test him is the need to find food and a warm place to sleep on a daily basis. Azares is no stranger to such problems at all but now he has to try and solve them in a way that won't add to the already impressively tall tower of sins stacked up against him. Azares will never be able to completely free himself of the many wrongs that he's done but he will give his all towards doing enough good deeds to hide the bad. Regardless of his change, the PTCA will continue tracking Azares until either they capture him or he is killed by one of his many pursuers. Even without the many people and creatures that desire vengeance against him, the reward money offered by the PTCA for Azares' death or capture will ensure that the ghosts of his past will haunt him to the very end.
