Sheesh, you guys should've invited me if you were gonna come party on Earth! You guys know I love this place!
Well, with all the planets coming down to play, this was kind of inevitable, really. Sol, the Sun, Apollo, Helios, Ra, whatever you want to call him, he's come down to play too!
... yes, that's really the life-giving Sun there. Being worshipped is pretty nice in small doses, or from afar, but he's found himself in situations that'd make a boy band jealous, and ones he likes a lot less, so he tends to stay incognito most of the time. Also, he works a little differently than the girls, in that what you see is a physical form he makes to house his essence. Because of this, he can make new ones all he wants, but he can only appear somewhere if he's shining down on that spot at the time he appears. Also, lock him away from the sunlight for a while and he'll fade away, poor thing...
Sol is a pretty friendly, cheerful sort. He's more than grateful for the worship the people of Earth give him for just being, well, him. He's also a bit shy despite all that, and shares his secret with a very few people. Though of course any of the girls would recognize him on sight. He's content to just wander around for right now, though, and see the sights since the last time he poked around down here!
Fun facts:
Sol is... warm. Very, very warm. Snuggling on him is like having an electric blanket bundled up in your lap!
Hurting Sol is... very ill advised. Digestion is slow and keeps him away from the sun long enough, and he's just as filling as one of the girls, but break him otherwise and, well... that's a lot of starflame to release all at once. >>
Unlike some of the other girls, Sol blushes a cute buttercup-yellow.
Although not technically related, Sol thinks of and acts like a father to the planets and planetoids. Not the asteroid boys though. >> He doesn't talk about them.
Sol does actually have a more...
showy form he uses sometimes, when he lets the fire within him glow out and lets himself show his age a bit more. It's not commonly seen, though...
