| A Touch on Tsugumomo |
| Sosogu is a Tsugumomo, which is a variant of a Tsukumogami. Similarly to a Tsukumogami, a Tsugumomo is an object that has gained sentience through repeated years of use in a family generation. Feeding off the sentimental value instilled in them, they are able to manifest into a human body. This 'birth' grants the Tsugumomo full self-awareness, sentience, and free will. Their bodies are completely capable of all functions, including childbirth. Though, without an owner to feed spiritual energy off of, their power slowly wanes until it is all expended, reducing them to their original form. | Appearance |
| Standing at 6’0” (cm) and weighing 203lbs (kg), Sosogu has to go out of her way to try to not be spotted. Her body is smooth and curvy, her tummy holding a bit of a sag, with love handles on both sides. Her thighs and rear also hold a bit more weight to them due to the sedentary state she lives in. Her breasts are a perfect towing of the line between D and double D. She wears more saggy clothes in an attempt to hide her body’s weight. Usually sporting a peach-colored long-sleeve sweater, with matching baggy track pants go with them. She wears a white cape that extends to hide her neck and has a symbol on the back of it. Her seafoam-colored hair is worn in a simple bob, with some hair just covering her pink eyes. Finally, to help cover her head, she has a hat that holds a resemblance to a chipped sakazuki cup. |
| Personality |
| Sosogu is an extremely timid and shy person. She is very difficult at being upfront with people and when someone is upfront with her she can easily become overwhelmed, usually submissing to what the other says. Her nature makes it difficult to be assertive, often needing assistance to voice her concerns. When she becomes desperate though, she will act without properly explaining herself, especially in regards to unruly prey. Though she needs to devour people and consume souls, she doesn’t enjoy it at all and would much prefer to regain an owner. She prefers a more gentle approach, properly getting her prey tipsy or even drunk before consuming them, so they go down easy. |
| Abilities |
| Physically, Sosogu is quite frail. Her strength is most disappointing, as is her speed. Where she truly shines though, is in her sake-producing abilities. She is able to create various drinks that all have different effects on the user when consumed by them. These can range from erasing memories, healing wounds, increasing strength and speed, to even inducing calmness. Drinking too much of her ichor will induce symptoms similar to that of being drunk, so it’s best to only consume one at a time. Sosogu usually uses these when trying to find a poor soul to devour, properly getting them nice and loose before moving in for it. |
