Spectacles

Wasteland science be crazy, yo.

When Luis agreed to someone's project to improve her vision, she really didn't expect the results. I mean, sure she can see a bit better now. At night, anyway. But she rather liked being a human.

Standing at around five feet, she's actually quite short. Often seen with a clipboard and pencil, dressed in appropriate attire for the situation (All too often a full body hazmat suit. Modified, of course.)

So what did she actually wind up looking like?

Let's start at the head and go down. Her hair changed from a natural dark blonde to a lovely mix of purple and red, and has the spikes of a cazador on it. Along with antenna. She's sensitive about those.

She still wears sunglasses or goggles during the day. She finds it far too bright to be dealing with, now being a night crittur. Those eyes of hers are those of a fire gecko, slitted to match. A nice, broad tongue adds to that. She also has fangs- Don't let her bite you in anger. Cazador venom is deadly.

Her shoulders and torso are half covered in chitin- Mostly around her back- and purplish-red scales-mostly the front. This continues onto her arms and legs, chitin on the outsides, scales inside. Her clawed fingers are rather sharp.

She also has lovely, large, lacy orange wings. It's quite hard to miss them when they're not tucked away in her hazmat suit, the two pairs actually large and strong enough to give her limited flight abilities.

Let's not forget the nice thick tail just above her rear. She can't ever seem to lose weight off that thing. It is about four feet long, drags along behind her when she's not paying attention, topped in chitin for half the length- top half- and ends in a stinger.

Her feet, last of all, are mostly reptillian, with chitin armouring the top. Her claws are, again, rather sharp, should she have to use them.

Her build is that of one who has to survive, but spends most of her time not doing that curled up and listening to radio serials or nerding. And eating. And eating. And eating people. She keeps the last part a secret.

So give her a go. Maybe you'll convince her not to sting you. Or maybe she'll just eat you. Who knows.
