Spike is a baby dragon, that works for Twilight Sparkle, the Princess of Friendship. She was the one that more or less gave him birth through magic nesting, and she raised him so he kinda consider her his adoptive mother and best friend. He is very proud to be her number one assistant, and do his best to always be helpfull to anyone that needs his help. One day, as Twilight still was Princess Celestia's student, they both got sent to a little village called Ponyville that they never left since then. They met many other pony friends, and of course they met Rarity. A wonderfull mare that Spike immediatly fell in love for, even though he never clearly told her.
After some time, Twilight discovered that even though Spike was a good boy, his voracious dragon instinct will eventually starts to come back one day or another. For that reason, she tried to learn spells that could bring back anyone the dragon would eat, in case something bad happened. She even had spells that could bring her back a few hours back in time in case she was the one devoured. All of that vorish magic however had a bad influence on the boy, that started feeling hungry sooner than Twilight expected. She now had to be carefull about the little one that was sleeping next to her bed.
