"This is a comprehensive list of all known and discovered Spirits roaming the world, from the humble Mousicle to the devastating Drakkoon, you'll find information on all within these pages."
Essentially, this is going to be a list of all the Spirits used in my "creature collection" world, both those with played, linked profiles suchs as Frostara, as well as those without like the Mousicle who will be given small descriptions of what they are here. I'll be formatting this profile into a numbered list and using it to keep track of every Spirit people come up with, myself or otherwise, along with a list of Spirit attributes(types) and how they match-up against one another. The author of the Spirit Encyclopaedia is in fact also a Spirit, as far as the world containing the Spirits is concerned. (Though in truth

1. Drakkoon; Fire attributed Spirit in the shape of a large medieval dragon. They come in a variety of styles and colours, the red and black scaled Drakkoon being purely Fire attribute, while others may have additional attributes based on location, even controversial Fire/Ice attribute has been recorded. Known respectfully as the most powerful Fire Spirit and extremely rare.
2. Mousickle; Beast attributed Spirit in the shape of a small rodent whose tail has developped into a sickle. Highly cowardly, found just about everywhere warm and considered pests by just about everyone. Weak and mostly used as food by other Spirits, though numerous enough that you don't want to get one riled up enough to become agresssive. There's always a hundred more nearby.
3. Mouscycle; Beast attributed Spirit in the shape of a small rodent. This variation has developed it's own unicycle through means as-of-yet unknown. It still has a sickled tail, however it has changed from cowardly to more of a court jester type character. This species is not related to Mousickle despite the similarities between them.
4. Botan Cow; Beast/Plant attributed Spirit that looks like a giant cow coated in numerous berry bushes. The higher up it's back you go, the sweeter and more nutritious the berries, while those near the bottom are considered poisonous to people and Spirit alike. You can tell the difference by the fragrant aroma and sickly sweet juices the good berries produce. Whenever a berry is plucked from it's branch, another will sprout in it's place after a few seconds. If not for their tendancy to spit giant exploding Berry Blasts when disturbed, they'd make a decent food source.
5. Fenrir; Beast attributed Spirit that looks like a giant wolf. It has a nasty temperament and hunt in packs of 4-9 members. If you see one, it is advised to flee before they catch your scent, otherwise you'll be hunted and eaten. Bewrare the one wearing gold chains, his bling is not just for show for it once held this massive specimen captive deep underground... Not associated with the Fenrir of Norse legend.
6. Fenrir Glacius; Ice attributed Spirit and essentially an upgrade in both size and ferocity to the standard version. This variation occurs in cold regions or when a standard Fenrir spends too much time in such a locale. The added bulk is thought to give them the power needed to trudge through the snow for days on end tracking their next meal.
7. Bunbite; Ice/Beast attributed Spirit that resembles a wee fluffy white rabbit... of death. If you startle one, it'll go for the throat and bite until there's no movement left in you. Herbivores by nature however, they prefer to eat berries and are experts in locating Botan Cows to harvest their sweet crop. Can be rather peaceful and helpful if left to their own devices.
8. Golerm; Mineral attributed Spirit not to be mistaken with magical constructs known as Golems. Golerm are however large rock-men with glowing orbs set into a hollow face as their only "facial feature". Their signature technique is called Rock'n'Slide, not to be mistaken for Rockslide, another Mineral attribute technique. Golerm are rather musical creatures and can be pacified by playing a melody that they like, generally rock'n'roll music.
9. Zoctrine; Lightning/Wind attributed Spirit that resembles a jagged, yellow bird. Not to be confused with Zapdos from the popular children's game franchise, though oddly similar in appearance and attribute. This bird is much smaller in general, much more similar to a crow in size. It is also as memorable as a crow and if you wrong one, you may be targetted by others for the rest of your life.
10. Fssh; Aqua attributed Spirit that is, well, Fssh. It's an ugly little fish that swims in rivers, ponds, lakes and oceans the world over. It's got one outstanding quality and that's it's utter repulsiveness. Nothing wants to eat it and even fewer want to capture one, despite it being nimble on land or in the water and packing a rather hard, if slimy, punch. It does not have any saving graces other than it's firm headbutt.
11. Swhale; Aqua attributed Spirit that live in deep oceans, these whales are more or less the bottomless pits of the ocean. Eating every, Spirit, person, boat or oddly shaped rock, they stop for nothing other than Doomsnappers. They hate Doomsnappers with a passion.
12. Doomsnapper; Aqua/Fire attributed Spirit resembling a shark made from lava. These live in deep oceas, volcanos and any deep magma pits, swimming along without a care in the world. Their only natural enemy is Swhale, avoiding the whale Spirit at any cost. Otherwise they'll happily scorch anything they think they can eat while doing so.
13. Ferg; Fire attributed Spirit resembling a small head with arms and legs, reminiscant of a Golerm that's missing it's body. This little critter is known to live in deserts, magma caverns and volcanoes and can be considered friendly at all accounts. They'll rarely attack and, if provoked, will generally flee rather than fight. They're essentially useful as guides in dark places as they always seem to know the exact path you're looking for.
14. Zephyr; Wind attributed Spirit. Pidgeon. Enough said. Ok, maybe some more than that... These are everywhere. Annoying flying pests that peck at and pester people for leftovers of any kind and are one of the few Spirits able to consume the poisonous lower berries grown by Botan Cow.
15. Ribbity-Rib-Rib; Aqua/Beast attributed Spirit that looks like a frog wearing a crown. It's actualy name is Royal Toad, but they tend to dislike the toad part, so we opted to omit it in the name list and use the version the Spirit shares with any who will listen. Despite only being about the size of an average Human head, anything that they stick their tongue to can and will fit in their mouth whole. Trust me... you do not want to experience that...
16. Mokeen; Beast attributed Spirit and the author of this encyclopaedia... Yes, I know I'm a Spirit. I'm a monkey Spirit to be precise and I am probably smarter than you, dear reader. If not, you have my praise, for my kind are super intelligent apes. Though few in number, we have lived along side people for a long enough time to essentially be people. Capturing us isn't illegal, though most will frown upon you for it. We even have our own Spirit Tamer's league.
17. Bolt: Lightning attributed Spirit in the shape of a cartoonish lightning bolt. They zip around like no one's in their way, often electrocuting electrical engineers as they do so. They live in areas of highly condensed infrastructure to absorb electricity more easily and often find their way into generators and the like. They are the highest percentage cause of power outages and lightning strikes. Their body is said to measure around 230 volts when stationary, building as they move to a maximum recorded amount of 23,000 volts.
18. Mulch; Plant attributed Spirit resembling a pilt of mud and leaves. It is essentially a fantasy slime creature in body, being capable of rearranging itself to avoid almost any attack and, should it touch you, you'll have but minutes before you're sucked fully inside it to be dissolved into more mud. Nothing can survive inside of Mulch bodies more than 20 minutes and nothing can escape from inside one. Unless it chooses to let go, accpet your fate.
19. Venus Spirit Traps; Plant. Yes, just plant. This isn't a Spirit, though it respsond to Capture Cards as if it were one, even being capturable, so it is listed here for that reason. They are ravenous plants that ensnare and digest any Spirit that comes near, though only Spirits are subjected to this. They are mobile enough and strong enough that just 4 could take over a small town in half a day. If they had the brain to actually want to do it.
20. Mullosc; Aqua/Plant attributed Spirit that looks like a flattened slug. It's name comes from the sound they make and is rather similar to what they are, molluscs. Acidic slime coats their bodies and they tend to prefer getting swallowed and then digesting their victim from within, rather than eating anything themselves. Their skin readily absorbs nutrients from liquids that get mixed into their mucous.
21. Mousicle; Ice/Beast attributed Spirit that lives in the colder regions of the world. Much like Mousickle, this rodent shaped Spirit is cowardly and serves as the primary food source for many of the other Spirits that dwell in the cold regions. It's body is coated in jagged, icicle-like fur.
22. Endaragon; Mineral/Beast attributed Spirit resembling a furry stone eastern dragon about the size of a car. Their pattented "Endar Quake" is capable of destroying a skyscraper by accident if used in a town or city and is considered the most powerful of Spirit techniques. Endaragon are tricksters by nature, wraping earth and stone to create mazes to trap unaware victims, who will then tire themselves trying to escape and become easy prey.
23. Beginaragon; Wind/Ice attributed Spirit in the shape of a small, juvenile dragon. This is the counterpart to Endaragon and is equally as fearsome in battle, the Wind Rager technique it learns capable of tearing steel to ribbons and has the unique property of being highly effective against True Spirits. Once this dragon grows up, it is said to be able to destroy the world, though it's purpose is to create one.
24. Hurlka; Beast/Wind attributed Spirit resembling a horse. This steed is loyal to a fault and faster than a speeding bullet train at full gallop. Be sure to bring a helmet, or you'll be saying it's name frequently. They have a tendancy to kick anything that approaches from behind without warning.
25. Honkiss; Wind/Aqua attributed Spirit resembling a goose and just as foul as one. They will hiss, bite and claw at anything they don't like, which is pretty much everything. Biggest problem is they're the size of a house. They cannot swim despite being Aqua attribute, but can fly.
26. Mammog; Beast/Ice attributed Spirit that is a bit of a mix between mammoth and dog. Fierce hunters, one of Frostara's only natural predators in the frozen tundra and to top it off, large. They travel in groups of 3 or more and their Stampede is nothing to laugh at.
27. Rappata; Plant attribute Spirit that looks like a rat. It's made from plant fibres despite looking like it has fur and should be a Beast attribute. They're also 15ft tall without standing on hind legs, so watch out for giant rat hysteria to kick in should one be spotted outside their jungle homes. They only eat berries though, so at least they're not predatory, even if still highly aggressive.
28. Frostling; Ice attributed Spirit that hatched from a Spirit Egg created by a pair of Frostara. This is the juvenile form of Frostara and will eventually grow into a powerful yet ellusive Ice Spirit much like it's parents. It won't, however, get any birthday presents from them seeing as Frostling are left to grow up alone.
29.
Frostara; the adult form of Frostling and also known as "Blizzard Bringer", is a type of Ice attributed Spirit that roams the frozen tundras of the north and south. Exceptionally rare, powerful and often times ill-tempered, they posses the power to summon instant blizzards or freeze a volcano.(More info on the profile)
30. Gondaara; True Spirit and one fo the very few known to exist. This Spirit is considered to be one of a kind and ancient beyond compare, it is said that Gondaara created the mounntains themselves and is the forefather of the Mineral Attribute. It's form is up for debate as those who have seen it can never give the same description twice. Strangely, sightings of Gondaara are reportedly more common than Frostara, despite there only being one Gondaara.
31. Needara; attribute variable Spirit that changes based on the way the people it grew up near live. Miners will see Mineral attribute while woodsmen will see Plant attribute, and so on. This Spirit thrives in areas where life has reached a high level of intelligence and enjoys putting itself to work creating or observing others in their line of work. Depending on the intelligence of those around it, it can both grow more or less powerful and Spirit Tamers with a strong IQ will find themselves with a much more capable partner. (Discovered by

32. Fangdeer; Beast/Variable attribute Spirit found in most areas of the world, the appearance and attribute of which changes to suit it's environment. They may look like ordinary reindeer, these critters also boast razor sharp fangs and, while usually rather docile beasts, when startled they become highly aggressive and will attack anything that moves in sight until nothing but trampled dirt remains. They travel in large herds and one can tell if they have been startled by something or not by the shrill yell they give off one angered. Unfortunately, they are fairly easily startled and the yell of one will usually set off the entire herd.
(Don't ba afraid to add more Spirits to the list if you feel like doing so, just make sure they're able to fit into the world somehow, habitat, type and the like.)
Spirits can be devided into 9 attributes: Fire, Aqua, Plant, Mineral, Ice, Beast, Wind, Lightning and True. These determine what type of areas a Spirit may live in, what sort of food they might eat and the sort of techniques they may learn. The only exception to the standard "may only learn matched-attribute or neutral techniques" is the True Spirit. These are considered to have every attribute at once, thus have no weaknesses and can learn any technique, regardless of attribute. True Spirits are rare and deific, thus considered illegal to hunt, capture or otherwise exploit.
Each attribute can be considered as effective against the following;
Fire: Plant, Ice and Wind.
Aqua: Fire, Mineral.
Plant: Aqua, Mineral.
Mineral: Lightning, Fire, Wind, Ice.
Ice: Plant, Beast.
Beast: Plant.
Wind: Fire, Plant.
Lightning: Wind, Beast, Aqua.
True: Everything.
Each attribute is considered as resistant, but not immune, to the following:
Fire: Fire, Plant, Beast.
Aqua: Aqua, Fire, Ice.
Plant: Plant, Aqua, Lightning.
Mineral: Mineral, Fire, Beast, Ice, Lightning.
Ice: Ice, Wind.
Beast: Beast, Plant, Wind.
Wind: Wind, Plant.
Lightning: Lightning, Wind.
True: Everything.
(Please note, if you wish to add a Spirit to the list, you may feel free to send me a name, attribute/s(up to 2 unless True) and a describtion of it, it's habitat and temperament)
Notable Spirits:
(those I'll be adding here will come from play sessions where someone causes a Spirit to become noteworthy)
Notable Spirit Tamers:
(I'll include both my own and those of other people should they wish to be given mention here, their teams and exploits will be recorded.)
