Annie is an unaging magical girl with the powers of the stars on her side. Words of her exploits have spread far and wide. Her stories stretch back hundreds of years, kept alive through word of mouth. Ask anyone and they’ll probably tell you at least one folk-tale about the Girl of the Stars. Though, nowadays her fight against evil has come to almost a standstill. The amount of real threats has been dropping and she’s beginning to wonder what to do with herself. Even considering revealing her true identity to the world.

Lore

During her youth, Annie had a rather quaint childhood. Being quite poor, her mother did her best to provide whatever she could. However, this changed when Annie’s mother ended up sacrificing herself to give her a very special present. Annie from then on was cursed with ‘immortality’. Her body never aged past the day she received the curse, eternally stuck as a timeless girl. Now completely alone and forever youthful, she would wander aimlessly, unsure of what to do.
Not many years after this ‘gift’, she would find a cursed item. It asked for a single body part, to be able to control the entire galaxy. Given she had naught much to lose, she would accept, losing her right eye. Though not technically incorrect, Annie found herself only able to control and bend parts of the stars. The small plush rabbit would then follow her, waiting until she died to move on to another host.

Personality

Cold, calculated, no-nonsense, Annie likes to get straight to the point of whatever it is she is doing. Despite this, if she’s in public, she puts on more of a show to let herself be remembered easier by others. Aside from that, she tries to keep a low profile in public, disliking random fan interactions. When she has close friends, she often keeps in very good touch with them, trying her best to be with them during their whole lives. With them, she can be a lot more cynical, but it is mostly done just as jokes.

Abilities

Being alive for so long gives plenty of time to master even the most meaningless of tasks. Annie took that time to learn how to wield her sword, working tirelessly in her first years of immortality to gain a strong understanding of it. Her swordsmanship is one of the best in the world. Combined with her agility and precision from hundreds of years of combat, she is more than capable of dispatching henchmen without a second thought.
However, should an adversary prove more capable than she was expecting, she will resort to her namesake. With the assistance of her plush rabbit familiar, she will start to use the power of the dust and vacuum of space to enhance her attacks. From slashing large arcs of hot stardust at opponents to imbuing her fists with the celestial bodies, her output for damage increases quite a bit.
