Starbright

Starbright is your typical example of a fairy. She appears to be a slender human woman only a few inches tall, with pointed ears and a set of dragonflylike wings that look like spun transparent ruby. Though her body is highly magical, she has very few powers to speak of. Unfortunately for her own survival, none of those powers has anything to do with devouring others. Even something her own size would be much too big to eat, putting the fairy at the very bottom of the food chain....

To make matters worse, Star has all the curiosity and self-control of a raccoon hepped up on speed, and the hormones of a rabbit in heat. If something is shiny, sexy, or mysterious, she'll be all over it! More than one woman has gotten a nasty shock from the fairy zipping up their skirt and into their panties. Star's also worse than a magpie for stealing things that catch her eye, slipping rings off fingers and grabbing tie pins to add to her personal treasure trove.

If she's part of any community of fae, she's never been willing to comment on it. So she's probably a loner, with a nest hidden somewhere, stuffed to the brim with coins, jewelry, bits of tinfoil, metal bottlecaps, and so forth. Her diet is widely varied, but she has a definite love of sweets, something that shows in her own taste. Her skin's flavor is like she's been dusted with very fine sugar. How she reacts to the prospect of being eaten depends largely on circumstance. For some, she might welcome it, while others will find her kicking, screaming, and using every trick at her disposal to escape a trip through their digestive tract.
