What is this... need for Names?
Given many names, over the various years, StarScales has been known by many. First, as Dido,
hailed from a curious strange man, who made no time to pause his travels. To him, she reminded
him of a Goddess Queen. Reflined, still and ridden with supreme Grace. The two had little time
together, so, she was left in question. In start contrast? Another will vile, ill intent dubbed her
Leashia. A name she hated for it was given to her by her most hated captor. Wanting to harness
the value and power of a Dragoness when she was still within her early years as a fledgling. In
the coming years, his endevors came to a savage end. Through fang and Claw, she enjoyed a
Feast riddled with Vengence~ Only when she recieved her god given freedom back, free from
ownership, and matured with hard given lessons, did she shed these various idenities. Like an
old worn out hide, her past identies had lost their purpose. Wishing for a fresh start, with only
herself at the Helm? She'd claim a new title.

A short history
Long ago, an aging wizard discovered a cluster of eggs. Being one with nature, his curiosity
over rode his conscience, leading him to collect one of the unhatched youths for private study.
What he didn't know was, how his clumsy trail left a perfect scent path for Ogres to pillage the
rest. Lucky for the mage, his scent was never discovered by the young had parents. But, it was
his guilt that lead the old man to care for the whelp on the day she entered the world.
Over the years, the man grew old, but he still continued to raise the four-winged kit as if she
were his own child. He watched her frame develop, but slowly, as his grew weak and feeble.
She learned of the world through the view of the forest and the creatures his magic protected
from the outside world. He taught her of the dangers and how it was their duty to protect those
who weren't able to defend themselves.
Sadly, when she was finally capable of human speech, Star watched her human father submit to
father time. With his death, she inherited Whistle Wood and became its protector.
Shape Shifter?
Star was born as a Feral Star Elemental Dragon, but over the years she learned how to cast spells
through the use of her unique “Breath” to conduct different things. One of her favorite? Convert-
ing her figure so she could interact with different beings, because honestly there were A LOT of
people who were terrified of a creature that was at least twice the height of a draft horse. Below
are examples of what her most favorite forms.
Dragoness

Abilities:
Dragon’s Breath:
Instead of fire, Starscales also has something unique. What could be better termed as Myst serves
a variety of use. In defensive or offensive matters, the substance can be caustic due to high
concentrations. In restoration it can serve as a healing aid by removing grit, some manners of
illness by supporting immune systems, and for some species, can provide a metabolism boost. For
her own needs it can conduct various spells to help her in her travels. To include shapeshifting.
Soul Bound:
Star was a member of a rarely seen Draconic Species. With each one born, would a Star erupt into
existence in the heavens high above. Because of this, each being of her kind have a link with this
celestial body. For, as long as the star glowed in the night sky? They’d live long, hardy lives. It is
also the source of their ‘Myst Breath’ and Magic.
OOC Notes:
Star is a precious character to me, I’ve had her since the first day I learned how to type out RP 20
years ago. I’d like to request that you take the time to think about what you do with this alt. I
might take it personally, but I’ll try to be mature over the matter, but please pay attention if I let
you know that ‘something' isn’t cool’.
