Well, maybe her name, if you really press. “Matty”. Probably said with a shrug. Nickname? Or maybe she just doesn’t have much attachment to it. Either way, if you don’t have business with her, don’t expect too much conversation.

Matty is a particular breed of hacker punk, adept with all things digital, at home with machines and data. Much less with people. Which, as one might expect, has led her down certain ideological paths. Seeing the world in terms of The Light and The Dark opposing each other, she’s become... something of an extremist. An edgy one. Becoming The Dark to fight The Dark.

She fancies herself a modern day Robin Hood, or something like it. Hacking, infiltrating, and doing whatever is necessary to sow chaos and discord in The Dark, she might orchestrate tax refunds of a dime to every citizen in a country, or a lot more. Shut down credit transactions for 24 hours. Maybe cause a blackout somewhere. She’s got justifications, just ask her.

But it might be difficult to get an answer.

See, if she’s moving through cyberspace (so much easier than breaking down doors) or in enemy territory, she’s more than likely transformed. With the aid of a modified vintage digital pet device, she can run mods on herself on the fly. Which almost certainly means she’s at least taking the form of a rather tall and powerful Renamon, to say nothing of what other programs might be running alongside that.

But hey, at least you’ll get her name out of her. She readily volunteers it to build her legend. Tell them Streak_ did this.
