Swan is a young man with pale skin and wavy, light brown hair that matches the color of his big, hazel eyes. He has a thin frame and stands at 5’6”, comparatively diminutive among most of the other boys his age. He presents himself in somewhat of a dated look in his embracing of 90s grunge era fashion, typically wearing baggy flannels, faded ripped jeans, Converse or Vans sneakers, and graphic tees of his favorite rock bands or movies.

As his name would suggest, Swan is the type of person who has never quite fit into what people would deem “the norm.” Born Alex Ardor, he grew up as the only child in his family. As a child, he never had many friends due to having very different interests from those of the boys around him. Whereas most of his peers engaged in sports as their primary social activity, Swan felt more at peace going on hikes with his mother or playing in the woods with his handful of childhood friends. His love of nature earned him his nickname when, during a school field trip, he rescued a pair of cygnets that had fallen into a hole too deep for them to escape.

Despite being an occasional target of bullies, Swan carried himself with a solemn temperament that managed to help him not so much blend in as it did encourage others to ignore him. He remained mostly in the shadows at school, sticking primarily to a group of close friends. For the most part, he felt better knowing that most people didn’t get to know him on a personal level. While his attraction to the darkness was one thing, his secret fantasies were on a different level of understanding to most people. From an early age, Swan loved hearing fairytales about huge dragons hunting down fair princesses, and the legends of voracious monsters who preyed on humans. As a teenager discovering his sexuality, these fantastical beasts were replaced by the crushes he developed. Whereas others dreamed merely of getting those they desired in bed, he felt that the way to be closest to someone was to be consumed by them, in effect becoming part of them, forever.

Fortunately, after keeping this to himself for quite a while, he eventually met another boy on his level. Long after falling for Tyler_Winter, the two learned where they fell on the spectrum, and Swan couldn’t pass up the opportunity to begin dating the boy of his dreams, even if the cost was being absent for a week to sate his boyfriend’s hunger.
