"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."
-Arthur C. Clarke

Connor is a nanobot particle swarm, which gained sentience. He's not too sure how- random chance, accidental upload of a human mind into a data feed for the nanobot control codes... it's a mystery to him. It also doesn;t bother him too much.

He generally appears as a rather effeminate male (or a slightly masculine female, he's gone by 'Connie' before as well) and usually is found out in the wilderness, of all places. Away from cities, away from technology. If asked, he'll say this is so that he can relax, and try to find himself.

The reality is... he can't go into an urbanized environment, because all of the electromagnetic fields- from electrical wires, to cars, to broadcast towers... it's a mishmash of Electromagnetic Interference. (EMI). Which messes with him something fierce.

But to counter this, he can... bond with someone. If a living being allows him to integrate with them, they become a host, and he hops on board. The end result is someone who has all of Connor's body changing and technology integrating powers at their disposal. This also renders them rather more difficult to harm than the average person, plus a few 'supernatural' abilities. And occasionally, Connor will ask that they let him take control of the body, so he can experience life through actual biological senses. Touch, taste, smell, etc.

Looking for a scene where Connor bonds with a pred. I'd prefer they were willing to share their body, since that's when the fun happens.

Never/Dislike I prefer verbose posts, but obviously, when it's just conversations between characters, one or two sentences will do. Don't pad it when not needed, but don't skimp when the details come in.
