Tragic turns to Terrible.

Sometimes life is hard, sometimes it just sucks, and sometimes it's just so down right terrible all you can do is cry about it. But sometimes life just doesn't give you a break and keeps kicking you down to the ground until you can't stand up anymore. Take the life of Tabitha for example. Her life is nothing more than bad luck after bad luck. This was not to say her life was terrible, up until the age of seven her life was going pretty well. Tabitha was born a witch and raised among her family, all who were witches as well. She learned to wield magic and keep her powers a secret. For the most part her life was pretty good. Though when she was seven years old she awoke to the smell of smoke and her house was a blaze in fire. Hunters had come for her family.

Still young and not very skilled she didn't know what to do, she simply sat in her bed listening to the screams of others as her house was burned down. Lucky for her, her father broke into her room and was able to grab Tabitha and whisk her away to safety. But the tale only gets worse. Somehow Tabitha and her father were the only people to live the fire. As the two ran they had to witness the countless screams from the house behind. After some time the two assumed they were safe as they caught their breath in the woods. This is when the day from bad to worse, as they two continued to make their way out of the words a gunshot was heard ringing from the forest, and as Tabitha turned her head she watched her father's lifeless body hit the ground. Tabitha was now alone.

Hope in the darkness

Unknowing what to do, this little seven year girl just fell to her knees screaming, her father was dead, everyone she knew was dead, and she assumed she was going to be next. In that moment she looked up she watched as a group of people approached her, all of them armed with guns. She closed her eyes knowing what was going to happen next. She heard the sound of a trigger pull and then more screaming. Not knowing what was happening she opened her eyes, only to see a robbed figure standing above her, and the people who had caught her were now burning alive.

The stranger introduced themselves and simply told Tabitha she was with the Academy and told her she was sorry she was so late. Tabitha didn't say a word, she just continued to cry as the stranger picked her up and began walking off with her.

When Tabitha got her bearings back she saw a massive landscape in front of her, one that seemed to jump right out of a fantasy story book, a massive school that she was told housed all sorts of witches and wizards. After a few introductions Tabitha was enrolled at the school, this was her new home and here she could start her life over. Though she would never forget the people who destroyed her old life. She made a promise that once she learned how to control her powers she would go after every witch hunter in the land and skin them all alive. Something died in Tabitha that day, and it was her heart. Sure there were still glimpses of it, but for the remainder of her life she would be rather ruthless and cold to everyone she met.

Tabitha

Ten years had passed since Tabitha joined the academy making her seventeen years old. For the most part Tabitha spends her time locked away in her room working on new potions and new spells she can create. She doesn't hang around others very often and is not known as a social creature. When it comes to her actual skills and even tests she is ranked highest in her class. That being said there are very few times she actually goes to class, for the most part she keeps hidden in her room or just roams the woods around the campus. Many students don't even know if she actually exists, she has turned more into a rumor than anything. Thew few times she does go to class people always seem to crowd her and ask questions, though she rarely answers them.

She is a rather quiet individual. Many people say it's because she has a heart of iron and just doesn't seem to care about people at all. The truth behind it is she is actually just very shy, though she will never present herself that way. She does not like talking to people and will do almost anything to avoid contact with others. If someone does begin talking to her, she will belittle them very quickly and throw insults at them so they will leave her alone. Her personality doesn't change much when she is out fighting someone either, be it a demon or a hunter. She talks down to her prey and makes them squirm for their life before she ultimately turns them into a bloody stain.

Tabitha has an array of powers at her fingertips, she is skilled in all the elements and has a preference to using dark arts more than anything. She very much finds herself teasing her prey and humiliating them more than anything. How does she do this? Well she has perfected the art of shrinking others down, or even making herself grow larger. When she knows she has the upper hand on someone she isn't above shrinking them down to size and toying with them before swallowing them down or even crushing them under foot. Tabitha is a bit twisted and doesn't see the harm in doing this. Of course she would never kill a fellow student, but she has been known to shrink down those who annoy her and play with them for awhile.

In a nutshell

Tabitha stands 5'5 and is 17 years old.

She is crude, mean, and not very pleasant to be around. She thinks she is better than most people and has the complex to prove it.

She is a rather powerful witch who is out to tackle witch hunters and demons.

Tabitha is an orphan, her family was killed by witch hunters.

She is actually just rather shy and doesn't know how to approach people. Though you would never guess that with the defense mechanism she puts up.

She can control and summon almost any element at will, she is top of her class after all.

She would rather shrink others though or make herself big to assert her dominance.

Last but not least, Tabitha is weird. But weird is the new cool, right?

For some odd reason you like Tabitha, and who knows why! But you try over and over to show her! To ask her out on dates and do whatever you can to make her smile. Though countless time she abuses you, verbally and physically! Why would you chase someone like that!?

You are my servant! Deal with it!

Tabitha has made you her slave---Er Servant! How? Maybe you took up a job or something! You're her servant now, always at her beck and call! She's going to degrade you and treat you like some common dog! Will you stay? Or will you quit? I mean hey the pay might be good...and if you leave you might make Tabitha angry...would you risk that?

Welcome to the Academy!

This is a simple yet very broad idea. You could play another student at the same school Tabitha goes too! Perhaps a witch in training, or even a more powerful witch! This idea would have endless possibilities, to what happens and where the plot could go! So much to discuss!
