Technomancer

An enigmatic figure from an apocalyptic future, here to escape some sort of awful disaster. He stands at about five and a half feet in height, and he's always wearing a cloak, hood up, concealing his eyes, drawn about him to obscure his body....

Machines seem to run more smoothly in his presence, functioning faster, more efficiently, and with less errors. Almost as if his presence makes them want to work harder, to impress him....

A small orb orbits around the mysterious fennec, covered in glowing lines of light. It serves no discernible purpose, unless one were to get into a fight with him, or see him perform some trick with it....

He fell to land quite some time ago, the cloaked fennec plumetting as a smoking, charred mess from a portal in the sky... Clearly displaying the death of his home universe behind him, before the window closed. In his time in the park, he assisted somewhat in the fighting against The_Infection, and has amassed a small force of loyal machines in what used to be the necromancer's castle. The Wurmcoil Engine, now a part of the Nexus_Coalition, is his most loyal follower.

Avalon. That is what his name has been revealed to be. For some reason, he always seems to avoid direct confrontation... Preferring instead to direct his mechanical forces from afar, never engaging in a fight himself. Odd, considering to have walked into the middle of the phyrexian necromancer's lair, and emerge unscathed and uninfected, he must be hiding quite a lot of power. Or perhaps, he just knows of some secret that no one else is privvy to... Hard to tell. These days, he mostly simply idles about the park, alone, managing the machines about his new home from a data tablet.

He seems to have an almost terrifying affinity for technology. If he just *asks* a computer to unlock itself for him, it will do so. A wave of his hand can pull metal up out of the earth, shape it, build complex machines in mere moments. Software and hardware upgrades and repair can be achieved just by focusing, closing his eyes. Seems he actually does this sort of thing fairly rarely, though... Perhaps due to a lack of necessity.


The_Infection has returned to the park. Avalon has mobilized his forces.


One of many projects that Avalon has been working on, a vixen android now walks the park. Lifelike enough to be appealing, and even vore-capable, but just synthetic looking enough to make her mechanical nature obvious, she is possessed of short black hair and a glowing heart that beats within her chest, faintly visible... It used to be pink, but after an encounter with Viral_Cyber it is now a deep, corrupted purple. Not because she's evil or anything! But because the virus gave her the gift of true, irrepressible free will as sort of a 'birthday' present to celebrate her repairs. Her chosen designation? Alicia.

Avalon is no more. The fennec is gone. Alicia, what amounts to his child, has inherited much of his normal power, and has suddenly found herself without a creator. His last transmission, to all friends and machines he once knew, is simple. "I am sorry."
Can this be reversed? Who knows. A guardian force has settled over the nexus. If there are any who really remember Avalon, and wish him back. Perhaps they could find a way.
