Temper_Gracidea

Floaroma Town, a little village in Sinnoh abundant with flowers. It's said that the legendary Pokemon Shaymin was born in this place, and turned a barren waste into a flower-covered paradise with its birth. A peaceful, sleepy little place; Yoroko's grandparents fell in love with it from their first look, to the point where they changed their names and moved in immediately. Her parents, both born in the town, did likewise, loving the place from their first bleary sight of it.

Their one and only daughter... not so much. Oh, she liked the place well enough, and grew up with the grace and poise one would expect from the child of a pair of dancers. But despite all that, she still somehow manages to be a tomboy even in a skirt and floral crown. Not so much "rough and tumble" though, as much as firm and assertive and unflappable. She doesn't let anyone put on airs over her, deflecting insults with an iron poise and a perfect smile. And when she found a Mawile wandering around in the meadow and insisted on taking it in, it wasn't long before all the boys started calling her "Temper".

Not that she minded, really. It was bad enough that her grandparents changed their name when they settled to the name of the flower Shaymin was most known for, but to then call their granddaughter Yoroko? "Rejoice"? She -hated- that name by the time she was three. If her family wanted to be obsessed with the town's legend, fine, but she wanted out of it. Once the nickname caught on, she started insisting on people using it, and by the time she was old enough to properly start training, she'd found a love of her own: steel-type Pokemon. She took her Mawile and a Magnemite with her, headed out of the town gate, and never looked back.

And now? Now she's on the road travelling and training, like any other Trainer out there. She doesn't have a particular goal in mind, beyond meeting and training with more and more Steel-types. She's gotten quite good with them, though, and she does have one thought. Namely, she's heard of another kind, graceful, good-hearted Steel-type trainer off in the Johto region... and she wants to see just how she matches up against this "Jasmine" some day, when she makes it that far!

Miscellaneous... she actually does still have a love for flowers, and Mawile, her first Pokemon, will often be seen wearing them. She's been taught how to dance, and is pretty good at it too, and still tends to feminine clothing. The picture at left is actually one of her more commonly used outfits. Her first meeting with Mawile, too, involved dancing, albeit a very different sort that the Pokemon taught to her as they played in the meadow together, and the two still dance sometimes together. Mawile is, in fact, her best fighter, and her fighting is said to be like a dance as well, albeit a dance laden with power and force that can inspire both awe and fear... one can only wonder what dances her other teammates might learn, with time...

Temper's Pokemon:

Mawile (female)
Type: Steel/Fairy
Moves: Fire Fang, Ice Punch, Play Rough, Iron Head
Ability: Hyper Cutter
Temper's first Pokemon, met in the Floaroma Meadow when she discovered it dancing late one night. They danced together for a long time and bonded; Temper's mother found her cuddled up asleep with Mawile the next morning. Still her favorite and her strongest fighter, the two have been known to don matching floral coronets.

Magnezone (genderless)
Type: Steel/Electric
Moves: Magnet Bomb, Flash Cannon, Thunderbolt, Magnet Rise
Ability: Analytic
Originally a Magnemite, Temper's parents presented it to her when she became officially certified as a Trainer. To prove herself ready to explore other regions, Temper climbed Mt. Coronet with her team in tow; atop the airy peak, her Magneton took in the surrounding magnetic power and evolved.

Skarmory
Type: Steel/Flying
Moves: Steel Wing, Swift, Sky Attack, Air Slash
Ability: Keen Eye
Temper's fast and deadly answer to brawlers, and her main means of transport when in a hurry. Surprisingly poised despite its almost spiky aspect, it's almost as hard to insult Skarmory as it is her Trainer.

Scizor (male)
Type: Steel/Bug
Moves: Silver Wind, Bullet Punch, X-Scissor, Brick Break
Ability: Technician
The newest member of Temper's team, obtained in a deal made shortly after a Bug Catching Contest she narrowly lost. Sometimes a sledgehammer is the best tool for a job, and Temper considers this to be quite the lovely one~
{Currently is boxed/daycare'd.}

Bisharp (male)
Type: Steel/Dark
Moves: Iron Defense, Swords Dance, Night Slash, Iron Head
Ability: Defiant
A fast and powerful fighter Temper gained in a trade when she met a trainer from Unova on the ferry ride to Hoenn. The other Trainer saw little potential in the Pawniard he had captured shortly before leaving; Temper saw a new dance partner and one of the most impressive Steel-types she had yet encountered. The deal was made, and Bisharp has been at her side ever since.

Bronzong (female)
Type: Steel/Psychic
Moves: Rain Dance, Earthquake, Extrasensory, Confuse Ray
Ability: Heatproof
A mysterious Pokemon caught during Temper's climb up Mt. Coronet. Oddly soothing to be in the presence of, Temper hopes to one day figure out a dance of their own with it, but for now it's simply a bizarrely beautiful member of her team.

Doublade (male)
Type: Steel/Ghost
Moves: Sword Dance, Shadow Claw, Sacred Sword, Iron Head
Ability: No Guard
An intriguing new Pokemon traded to her by an acquaintance in the Kalos region. Is fond of hovering behind her back, sheathed, as if attached to her kimono and thus actually her weapons. Unsurprisingly, with Doublade's help Temper is now learning to sword-dance.
