Nature. Such a strong and delicate thing, all at once. It can be cruel and kind, gentle and vicious, and no one knows which it will be at any given time. But still, there are those sworn to protect it. Those who would give their lives and take the lives of others to see it safe. And Tendra is one of thoe beings.
Born a vicious feral fire dragon, Tendra once ruled the skies and land with her destructive power. Nothing could stop her, no hero or knight could stand against her. But the one foe who finally felled her...was nature itself. Struck down by a bolt of lightning, the dragon lay dieing on the grass. But then...Nature spoke to the dragon. "Powerful Beast" came avoice into Tendra's mind. "If you will serve and protect me, then I shall grant you new life, and new power." Of course, Tendra aggreed to this deal, and a light enveloped the dragon...
As the light faded, gone was the feral dragon, and up rose the green-scalled dragon demi that Tendra had become. She looked herself over, admiring her new form, before Nature spoke to her again, for the final time in her life. "I have given you new life, a new body, and new and great power to go along with it. Do not fail me." came the voice, for the last time Tendra would ever hear it. "I won't." was her only reply.
These days she uses her power to defend nature. She can make trees regrow from fallen logs, turn a burned down forest into a lush jungle, and even call upon the assistance of other animals if she has to. She has befriended most feral creatures, but she has found a trend. Creatures that to not live in harmony with nature, mostly humans save for some savage human tribes, were a threat to nature. And so, she once again called upon her destructive force, and began fighting these humans, along with other beings who cut down forests to build skyscrapers. She has been known to destroy entire cities, before turning them into vine-covered jungles.
She will destroy villages and kil anyone she deems to be a threat to nature, usually by passing them through her jaws and letting her body demolish them. Once again,s he was faced with heros and knights...and once again, they were no match for her, once she called upon her old fire powers. She can be a kind dragon, or she can be a vicious killer. It all depends on what you sem like to her.
