Most Chimera are clad in onyx black skin, have large crimson eyes, five fingered/toed paws with large pads and powerful claws, and a long tail covered in chitinous plates. Said tail ends in a large bulb like structure, which can open in a four lobed tail maw which has several long, powerful tendrils (which are actually tongues) and is capable of consuming large prey items, though itself is rarely the organ in which digestion takes place. Wings are also a common mutation, common enough to be considered more a recessive trait than a full on evolutionary diversion from the common Chimera form. Created as a sort of vore capable weapons platform, the Chimera body is perfectly designed for consuming same size or larger prey, and can embark more prey than almost any creature of their size. Almost every orifice of a Chimera, barring the ears, eyes, and nose, are vore capable.
Chimera's breed rapidly, and male sperm is noted as extremely potent, a veritable litter of over several dozen gestating to almost the size of small puppies within the space of seconds, and reaching the size of a fully developed human fetus within a few days or hours depending. What keeps them from ripping most hosts apart is the fact that Chimera Broodlings regularly consume one another within the womb in a manner akin to Shark Pups, and will often rapidly consume any other life form that enters their current womb of occupation. By the end of their three to five week gestation period, a healthy, well fed Chimera Broodling will be roughly the size of an adolescent human or young adult human, usually between 4'-5' tall.
A Chimera is a fearsome creature, its body nearly indestructible save for the application of heavy military grade weaponry (usually anti-vehicle) or considerable magical power. Chimera skin alone is proof against most civilian-grade firearms and secretes acid and fire retardant fluids regularly, making them very hard to digest or burn out of a warren. This durability is combined with what could be termed super strength and speed, a Chimera capable of moving faster than the human eye can perceive and strong enough to crush solid stone into powder. These traits, combined with a clever, savage psychology and a nigh endless hunger due to the species' powerful metabolism, make a Chimera a sort of "Super Predator", capable of depopulating vast swaths of large cities and overrunning a given area within a matter of weeks. Chimera are naturally fearless, and often seek out the largest and or most powerful prey items, this regularly puts them into conflict with other Predators and one another, making Chimera a sort of "Predator Hunter".
Chimeric Unbirthing is a relatively unique process, requiring the prey item to first meet the potential "mother's" preferences for offspring, usually selecting via a basic understanding of Darwinian selection. Once unbirthed, the prey item's genetic code is essentially re-written at a rapid pace, though regression usually begins within three hours of the unbrithing. Before that three-hour mark, the prey is little more but a Half-Breed. Half-Breed Chimera have pale alabaster skin, pale pink eyes, and are on average larger than their purestrain counterparts, averaging 7'-9' in height. Half-Breeds are larger, stronger, and more durable than their already fearsome counterparts, but are also considerably more primitive, their minds regressed to the point of almost animalistic savagery. Hardwired to do little more than breed and or act subserviently to their purestrain cousins, especially the Chimera that unbirthed them, Half-Breeds form a sort of worker cast of the larger Chimeric Horde. Half-Breeds also carry over some traits from their previous lives, though these are often purely physical, such as horns or scales.
A fully unbirthed prey item can be reborn a purestrain Chimera any time after this three hour interval, though the longer the process is undergone generally the greater likelihood of the prey developing unique traits and mutations, usually a result of the weaponized Chimera genome trying to improve upon the already deadly design of the species.
Originally, the matriarch of the Chimera Clan, Mondli was the only surviving "Genoform", or at least claimed to be until recently she rediscovered some survivng members of the so-called E-Series. Her sisters, and often, the only competition to her brood.
Members of the E-Series:
Photha a.k.a E-4245- Designed for recon and ambush, Photha is of a smaller, more althletic build than her busty, hulking sisters, and represented a closer move to what Mondli would become, a sleek, fast, powerful killing machine. However, Photha was not designed with the considerable strength of her elder sisters, and remains realtively weak for a Chimera. She also wants for built in weapons, being very humanoid in apperence, the only real differences being the typical red eyes and onyx black skin, her claws being more enlongated nails on unassuming, human like hands and feet. However, she more than makes up for this with blinding speed and a completely boneless body, being esseitnally capable of squeezing into any space her teeth can fit through and her body capable of contorting to almost cartoonish levels. Her innards and flesh are also very rubbery and difficult to burst or cut, rendering her design capable of taking more damage than even some of her later sisters.
Ayina a.k.a E-4141- Built for frontline, blockbuster combat and literal tank hunting, Ayina bosts heavy chitienous plates of armor, looking for all the world like a Knight clad in strange insectoid armor. Easily over nine feet tall, Ayina is a powerhouse, and full formed and busty to boot. Her plates can retract somewhat, giving her a more personable apperence. She is very spartan in personality, wanting for little but basic creature comforts and a steady supply of food.
After a three week long gestation period, the Chimera Clan was born. Most of Mondli's first brood matured and scattered off to parts unknown, or were consumed by their siblings and occasionally their mother. Currently only a few members of the First Brood remain with their mother and father, who are as follows:
Dundu- Meaning "Reaching For the Top" in the Zulu tongue, Dundu is the runt of the litter, but by no means the least dangerous. His stunted, childlike size is due to a lack of nutrition within the often dangerous environment of his mothers womb, where many of his brothers and sisters readily cannibalized one another. Having managed to survive regardless, Dundu... or Snaggletooth as his family affectionately calls him from time to time due to his three over sized fangs on the upper right side of his maw, has developed a very willful and domineering personality. In spite of his Shota size, Dundu, with his adorable, fuzzy body and bright red eyes, complete with a cute little white spot around the right eye he inherited from his Demi-Skunk father, makes him a very unassuming predator. In spite of his tasty appearance and apparent vulnerability due to size, he has often made a meal of would be predators due to his raw determination and ferocity. (Being borne of a weaponized super pred, and being born with powerful wings for his size, helps a great deal of course) That being said, Dundu often tries to literally bite off more than he can chew, and being rather gluttonous, can get himself into various compromising situations.
Chacha- Meaning "Sleek" in the language of the Zulu, Chacha (also known as Stripes for his distinct trio of white stripes that run from his bangs to the tip of his bulbous mouth tail) is very much his father's son. Born in a late adolescent form due to the sheer number of his own siblings he consumed in the womb, Chacha is very much what his mother desired of her brood, a ruthless predator and cunning hunter from which there is little to no escape. A terrifyingly capable, but exceedingly arrogant creature, while every inch of Chacha's body is a powerful vore machine, he is prone to overestimating his abilities, considerable though they may be. And in the city of Nexus, making any mistake is a dangerous move, especially for a predator.
Impisi- Meaning "Hyena" in Zulu, Impisi was named for his rather... distinct laugh. Regardless, as the second largest male in the Clan, next to Chacha, Impisi is often considered one of the most dangerous members of the brood, not for any skill or strength greater than his siblings, but because of his sheer unpredictability. One of the few members of the Clan who chose to try and live amongst the regular citizens of Nexus without constantly wearing clothing that conceals his Chimera nature. His baseball cap and down vest complementing a messy white tee shirt and blue jeans, he doesn't hide what he is, and is often very up front with the nature of his species. However, he seems to be trying to become a member of society rather than just preying on it... Though he is notoriously lazy and therefore hardly achieves more than laying about at home. That being said, Impisi tends to cultivate an air of being above it all, Preds, Prey, all that crap, he's just alive for a good time. That is, until he knows he has your guard down, then his predatory instincts take over.
Buhle- Translating from Zulu into the word "Beauty", the busty, curvy, and regularly promiscuous Buhle was aptly named, born into this world already in her awesome young adult body due both in part to the siblings she devoured and the mass amounts of prey her mother consumed. However, while Buhle is blessed with looks, from her onyx black skin to her bright white fur, she is lacking in both predatory skill and overall intelligence. Ditzy, forgetful, and just plain oblivious, Buhle can still be a very dangerous predator, but her kind nature combined with her air-headed personality make her more liable to cuddle, snuggle, and likely have sex with her prey as opposed to eating it. This also means she can often be made a meal of herself, often only realizing her new "friends" intent before it is far too late. Still, her body is not just for show, and is, like her parents and siblings, and impressive tool at vore.
Thulisile- "She who Brings Silence", or, more commonly amongst her siblings, Queen Crunch, a fitting name for such a fearsome predator. Thulisile currently the youngest of the current clan, in spite of being in the body of a budding teen, boasting a modest bust and tight rear. However, her ferocity easily eclipses that of even her brother Chacha, regularly dismembering and devouring prey alive. It is assumed this cold savagery is borne of some latent sadistic trait in Mondli's geneome, but regardless Thulisile is easily the cruelest, most violent member of the brood. That being said, she does have a softer side when it comes to the act of cooking live prey, shown to be a bit more playful and open... this usually does not make her victims any more comfortable as she takes the baster and cleaver to them but its usually more merciful than having her rip into them with her bare fangs and claws.
Second Brood, borne of the union of Buhle and Bugdino's Chimera form:
Imbali: With a name translating into "Blossom", Imbali wears her inspiration often on her sleeve, a flower in her flowing crimson hair and having a love for flowers in general. However, her namesake is much more than an interest, for Imbali is the first and so far only futa of the Clan. Blessed with a sleek and considerable member, Imbal's cock is a peculiar example of the Chimera's strange evolution. With a strange, vaginal like opening at the tip of the head, the cock can easily open wide enough to engulf most prey, and or easily accept a cock into its smooth mass. Her balls are also peculiar, as while they also produce cum and can render prey down into hyper potent seed, they can also behave much like a womb, regressing prey into broodlings and later rebirthing them into the world as slathering, hungry Chimera. Her tail maw is also in a peculiar flower shape, having many lobes as opposed to the usual four lobed tail maw.
Binda: Her name translating into "Choke" from the Zulu language, Binda is a wrathful Chimera who feels that she was dealt a cruel hand in life. Born with an instinctual urge to smother her prey with her breasts, only to be forever relegated to B Cups while her rump is a massive treasure trove of tight, jiggling onyx flesh. To compensate for this, the perpetually pissy Binda often crams her prey into her breasts after suffocating them with her rump or other means, trying desperately to get that dream bust, which always digests the prey away and returns to their regular size by the next day. She also regularly anal vores, as her assets seem designed for the job.
Intsha: A small Chimeric loli, Intsha refuses to truly accept her size and childish charms, always dressing and acting like a big girl... In more ways than one. Openly promiscuous and voracious as a predator, this pint sized beastie is always on the lookout to appear the biggest creature in the room. Biggest maw, biggest personality. She also has a grudge against creatures her size and apparent age, their youthful mannerisms reminding her of herself and how small and feeble she comes off as. Furthermore, she has a bit of a bully streak and will not hesitate to pick on micros should they cross her path. Finally, she prefers to be referred to as Shae, rebelling against her namesake, which means "Youthful".
Ihlo: Though as strange and genetically distinct as his sister Imbali, Ihlo, meaning "Eye" in Zulu, is at first glance a fairly average specimen of the Chimera species. But upon closer inspection he is anything but typical, his onyx black skin capable of secreting a strange biochemical solution that bends light around him, making him effectively invisible save for his eyes and teeth. His eyes also are capable of a strange photo-reactive display of shifting bands of yellow pigment, creating a hypnotizing display that puts prey into a comatose or hyper suggestive state.
Xosha: Meaning "Flight" in the language of the Zulu, Xosha was once a powerful Anthro Cheetah of the elite population control force known as Pred Patrol. However, she, and her entire squad, were devoured by Chacha, herself slurped up into his tail maw and held there until deposited into Buhle's then swollen womb. Facing either digestion or the fanged maws of innumerable broodlings, the Cheetah was plunged headfirst into a maelstrom of feeding. However, she bit back, and slowly but surely survived long enough to become one of the brood, her own stomach full of would-be siblings. Born again as a Chimera, Xosha kept the speed and ruthless predatory instinct of her previous life, but was also blessed with the sinuous and graceful form of a Chimera, blessed with massive wings which could form a great cocoon around her and give her unprecedented access to the city of Nexus. Her wings are also capable of creating a tight seal around herself and would be victims, and secreting powerful digestive fluids that she herself are immune to.
Joiners:
Members of the Clan who were not directly borne of Mondli and Mallow or any of the other members of the First Brood, but were perhaps either adopted or the result of one of the brood unbirthing a victim.
Bugdino- ((Not the player~ Instead a kind friend)) Current mate of Buhle, Bug was converted into a particularly interesting Chimera, with a rather enhanced cock for vore. The head splits into a flower like maw, all the better for consuming prey and keeping a grip on it.
Praeda_Bovem- ((Bugdino alt)) Transformed into a white skinned Half-Breed by Imbali, Praeda is now a broodmare for the Clan, existing only to be filled to the brim with brood after brood and eaten in times of scarcity. Regardless, this Half-Breed is still a ravenous predator, the nigh endless hunger of her broodlings making her insatiable.
Jackal- A rugged predator who runs a small pack of other Chimera in downtown Nexus, Jackal and her band have been a menace to the nocturnal population and people of the poorer areas of Nexus for almost a year now, the reason for a sudden spike in missing persons across the city proper. Covered in battle scars from territorial disputes with other packs, and holding a ravenous appetite, Jackal and her band have sought shelter with the Clan from time to time after she became affiliated with Bug. A cunning and rough predator, Jackal will rarely be swayed by tears and pleading.
Roy- A member of Jackal's pack and often considered the whelp of the ranks, were it not for his close bond with his massive brood-brother Little John and his own conniving ways Roy would have been reduced to fat on another Chimera's black butt years ago. But in spite of his lanky, unimpressive physique and several false fangs of gold, Roy is still a Chimera, more than a threat to most creatures that inhabit Nexus and beyond. That being said, you could hardly find an easier Chimera to try and hunt, even broodlings tend to be more imposing.
