First and foremost, Persephone is old. Very old. For this fact, among others, she has no qualms with referring to herself as Queen of those called Demons... a bold claim, considering the number, and power of such creatures. Of course, her age alone isn't what makes her exceptional, considering the fact she has been around since around the dawn of humanity - her powers are rather diverse, and terrifying in their own right. As century after century passes, her hunger only gets worse - and with it, her powers increase. This, on top of the fact that she's had to watch humanity grow from it's humble beginnings into the incredible self-destructive machine that it is today, only makes the so called Queen even more of a monster.

Of course, a Queen must have her kingdom - and while the area isn't precisely set in stone, she has no lack of followers. Many lesser demons, and vile creatures of all sorts worship Persephone - myths being made about the succubus by several civilizations - all warped and twisted by human fantasy. Having found this bizarre place, Persephone has settled down for the time being. A comfortable place for the glutton to live out the next couple centuries, until like many places before here, every resident is either part of her - or part of her "Kingdom".

Unique traits of the Demon Queen

Persephone is a demon. She relishes in not only destroying the very existence of mortals, but also doing so in the most horrific ways imaginable. As such, she has developed several powers to effectively crush her prey.

i) The most unpleasant ability is undoubtedly her ability to be able to look upon a being, and see it's utmost fears. She discovers the most horrific way the creature can imagine dying - and she turns that into a reality, before slowly devouring them.
ii) Her body does not work the same way as a human's - her vitals are all entirely different, and even her composition is completely bizarre. She can stretch, shrink, or grow to a nearly limitless extent. Although she rarely shrinks or grows, unless it's someone's fear.
iii) At the faintest drop of blood, the woman goes into a something akin to a feeding frenzy - while not exactly turning into a crazy, blood-thirsty monster (she already is one). Simply, the being who bled is tracked down, forever.

Oddly, Persephone has been known to even devour large portions of herself when she herself bleeds, which - for the most part - has always been a voluntary action. Her personality, while she herself is unquestionably evil - is usually rather ambiguous. She's known to be extremely composed, even tender, treating her prey as if she's actually protecting it by destroying it.

When she's fascinated, she's often seen nibbling on the knuckle of her forefinger, smiling ever so faintly.
