Ciel is the younger 'sister' of Viol... Or so 'she' will state when asked. Honestly speaking, this trap doesn't seem to care whether he's referred to as a man or a woman. Only two years younger than his older sibling, Ciel always looked up to Viol and dressed in a similar feminine vein, though in a slightly more traditional sense. While a moderately skilled trainer, the Dark Pokemon lover will be the first to admit that his skills are a little on the lax side, and that he would not have secured his place as a Gym Leader if not for his older 'sister''s talents.
Ciel's Gym rests in Votala Town, just south of Gullehorn City's southern wall. This Gym is often the first stop for trainers, and the Shadowshift Badge is necessary for aspiring trainers to use the Surf Technique needed for traversing the waters around the Salaba Region. Trainers will have to get past a Labyrinth Filled with Zorua imitating the Gym Leader, and each time they attempt to speak to one, they'll be forced to challenge their respective trainers.
Ciel is a relatively kind and open soul once he gets comfortable around someone, and oftentimes his kind nature has been quick to disarm otherwise hostile visitors. His blazing green eyes pierce past his black locks, often trapping the unwary onlooker in that hypnotizing gaze. He often garbs himself in dark, deep purple and wears his Pokeballs in a cloth belt around his waist.
