The mysterious right-hand of the Gluttonous_Goddess of Darkness, Umbra, and the highest ranking of the Goddess' Acolytes. Few outside of Umbra's worshippers have any idea who she is or she came from and the acolyte would like to keep it that way. It's not for any particularly sinister reason, mind you, and she's certainly not trying to run from her past, but... How would it look if it came out that the Hallowed Knight's chosen hero gave up her vows and left to join the Goddess of Darkness? Not good, that's how! That's right, this woman used to be TheLadyKnight!

Adeline has, through some odd twists of fate, found herself in service of the Goddess of Darkness, Umbra. After the death of her former (and less than kind) mistress, Yuichi_Kawashima, Adeline had no where to go and was promptly taken in by the goddess and her servants. Though the girl initially feared Umbra and her appetite, Adeline soon found a lot to love in the goddess and chose to serve as one of her Acolytes. As an Acolyte of Darkness, Adeline's life isn't too dissimilar to the way it was before. She travels the land, performing tasks given to her by Umbra. Since her change in faith, Adeline has put down her holy blade; returning it to her order for safe keeping until another chosen to wield it appears. In its place, she's begun making use of the shadow magic bestowed upon her by her new goddess.

Adeline herself really hasn't changed much from her days as a Hallowed Knight, but her perspective of the world has shifted quite a bit. So many things that were once forbidden and sinful are now hers to explore freely and explore them she has~ Maybe it's the influence of the lustful Goddess she now serves or maybe it's the mask of anonymity she now wears, but the once prudish Adeline now gleefully embraces the darker aspects of herself for both personal pleasure and punishing the wicked...
