In a lost world of myth and magic, a large floating continent lazily lists through the air, low enough to remain temperate, but high enough to remain disconnected from the world below it.
Long ago, the isles were once ruled by dragons as a powerful floating fortress. Untouchable by any king's army, it was a safe-haven to the dragons who lived there, and remained that way for eons, despite the constant, undeniable tension between the surface and the floating continent. As Time went on, though, the dragons were all but forgotten, left to the peace of their island.
Not so long ago, when Magic was rediscovered in the world, the people of the surface sought to explore the floating continent and it's wonders, only to be met with a completely new civilization and it's new inhabitants, those who descended from the dragons of yore; The Dragonkin.
Knowing nothing about the war of their past, the inhabitants of the isles welcome all with open arms, and a new name for the place they call home; "Welcome to The Auroran Isles!"
Known Natural Inhabitants
Salreana_Kujaki: Ex-Ruler of the Western Castle, it was since destroyed in rebellion due to her own carelessness. It has yet to be rebuilt, and Salreana seems to have fled from her throne.
Ryujii_Talos: Current Ruler of the Northern Castle, and a tauric dragonkin. Likes getting into fights and has to eat a lot due to her size.
Tira_Owlen: A Harpy from one of the many neutral territories, and one with a mysterious past. Vanished from the isles and has yet to return.
Mako_Marketh: A Sharkman from the Sapphire Ocean, and an accomplished (if specialized) mage. Curious and Friendly, he visits the surface often.
Seamstress_Lenarra: A Drider from within the Isle's subterranian caverns, who moved to the surface to start a new life. Caring and Kind, but prone to bouts of hunger.
Visitors
Kyrii_Hatame: A wandering Cockatrice from a distant land, she stumbled onto the isle by chance. Suffers from wanderlust and left not long after she arrived, though she plans to return.
Wandering_Lucia: A humanoid who refers to themselves as a Lucario, their reasons for being on the isle are shrouded in mystery.
Stellia_Hawke: A Tauric Harpy with an appetite to match; Not much is known about her as she's not very social.
