The Beast is a monster of Maddie's, a 20-foot furry monolith with a serious lust for the pain of others and and a depressive personality. Also currently a vampire.

Personality
The Beast hates you.

It doesn't matter that he's never met you, or that he doesn't know anything about you. All he knows is that he hates you, that he longs to hear the crushing of your bones into a fine powder and the pounding of your organs into a formless mass of cells. He wants to destroy you, completely and utterly, because his existence is misery, and he doesn't see why the world shouldn't suffer for it. And he will tell you all this, at length, because it's not enough you should suffer physically, you should suffer emotionally, too. Though he'd prefer to invoke depression and fear, he'll settle for being bored shitless if that's all you get out of his speeches.

So, why does the Beast behave like someone gave a whiny teenager godlike strength and physical form? Looking at it objectively, he doesn't suffer all that much. He'll tell you that Maddie keeps him in shackles, secluded and lonely, but he doesn't particularly like company anyway. He'll tell you he's been neglected, but Maddie feeds him regularly and takes him for walks daily. He'll tell you his life is pain, but he'll never give you a reason that makes sense.

The truth is the Beast has a fairly even amount of instinct and intellect. The Beast's a very smart guy, with an IQ rivaling Maddie's own. But when Maddie made him, she wired him with a ravenous appetite and a strong desire to destroy and kill. And so the Beast, being a thinking being, feels the need to rationalize this. The idea that his instincts overrule him, that he has no say in his own actions, terrifies him. And so he angsts, in the hopes of one day finding motives that haven't been inflicted upon him.

This explains his overriding hatred of Maddie specifically, and though once he would act on her life with frequency, he's long since given up, as he's yet to find a way to destroy CLONR and take her out once and for all.

That's not of course to say that he still can't find pleasure in the killing itself. The Beast takes no small degree of pride in his ability to take lives and his status as a sort of ultra-predator, the highest thing on the food chain. Of course, his insecurity with regards to why he kills, as well as recent defeats in battle, have made him reconsider that pride, and instilled in him a bit of an inferiority complex now that he's been shown he's not as good at his stated purpose as he's supposed to be.

Abilities
Durability and regeneration. The Beast can withstand most projectile weapons (rockets and missiles notwithstanding) provided they're not at point-blank range, and it takes some incredibly sharp blades to do much more than scratch him. He can lift twice his own weight given proper leverage which makes crushing him rather difficult. And now that he's a vampire he's almost impossible to kill; his skeleton is unbreakable and any damages will inevitably undo themselves in a matter of minutes. Best spots to aim for are the eyes and throat.

Raw strength and agility. The Beast is mostly muscle, and as mentioned he can lift twice his own weight. Dealing damage to a human is trivially easy to him, like picking petals from a flower. He's also surprisingly nimble, and the power in his legs combined with their sheer length makes navigating easy for him.

Senses. The Beast's eyesight is weak, as his eyes are massively out of proportion to his head and generally buried under a mess of hair. As a result of having to rely on other senses, his hearing is phenomenal, though not quite Daredevil-level "I can recreate the entire world around me via vibrations" phenomenal. His sense of smell is great as well, rivaling any bloodhound.

Appearance
Height: 20'

Weight: Roughly 750lb

Extremities: Four arms, two legs, all adorned by long, sharp nails; one 15'-tail with spikes on.

Fur: Orange, cat-like in texture.

Figure: Thin but well-muscled.

Eyes: "Like little dots of India ink", as Charles Schultz would put it; hidden beneath bangs, which is okay because they barely function anyway; was once missing one no thanks to Kristie_Jameson; has since regrown it since Pyre made him a vampire during the Focused_Genius incident.

Mouth: Has rows of shark-like teeth, with two extra-long now, and a tongue frog-like in its dexterity.

Genitalia: Is well-endowed by any standard, but the Beast lacks a sex drive and any desire to get one. Tough luck, ladies.
