The_Consumer

The creature referred to simply as the 'Consumer' is a ravenous monster that appears from the darkness to devour helpless maidens in the middle of the night. While seemingly intelligent, it is almost single-minded in it's pursuit of prey and will to go great lengths to track down and devour any woman that it has set its sights on. The 'lucky' ones are simply eaten on the spot; those less fortunate are 'toyed' with first.

The consumer is a creature of vaguely turtleoid makeup, save that it stands on two legs and is approximately 12 to 15 feet tall. It's exterior skin seems to be made up of a mostly hard, rubbery substance that is resistant to damage. It addition to this, the consumer is proportionally strong for it's size, meaning that it is prodigiously strong. The creature has a habit of battering through resistance to get to it's target. Additionally, the creature is seemingly amphibious in nature and though usually plodding on land, it is shockingly swift in the water. As the Consumer has never been properly studied, it is unsure if the creature is a mutant, a monster, or even a demon. The consumer's goal seems to be to fill up all the 'empty spaces' on it's shell, wherein it retreats to (presumably) digest it's mass meal.

As far as been observed, the monster comes forth to hunt at random, going on a small rampage through an area until it has consumed it's fill and disappeared whence it came. Those poor unfortunates that it eats aren't simply digested; they're digested slowly over time as they're stored within the creature's body. Horrifically, their faces are allowed outside of the beast's body via fleshy holes in it's back. Their moans of fear (and strangely, of pleasure) are often the first warning that potential victims have. It's believed (but not proven) that a girl is still capable of being saved while her face is still present, but once it disappears in the creature's body, she's gone forever. The Consumer's goal during it's feedings seems to be to fill up the 'empty spots' in it's shell, wherein it disappears again, presumably to digest it's victims.

The creature's appearances are irregular and erratic, with no true way of predicting when or even where it will appear. It has been observed on four continents and dozens of nations, but doesn't have an observable pattern to it's attacks, or at least none that has been yet discerned. It may simply be that the creature is truly random, or that there is a sinister intelligence guiding it's actions. So far, none can say. There are only two things that are known for certain.

1. It eats women.
2. It's very hungry.
