Entering the island: (For newcomers)

To get in the Mirage Island, you'll have to find the island itself first! Which is a 1 in 100th chance! Muwahahaha! Just kidding... Once you're roleplaying with this alt, you've already stepped foot on on the island. All you have to do now at that point is find the gateway (If you haven't done so already) and get past the gate guardian. Then you just need to pick a gateway and you'll be transported to the island's inner paradise. The place you end up depends on which gate you enter along with what shape your body ends up in. Fufufufu.... * u*

The Gateways:

(This is a very important concept to remember so be sure to read this before starting a roleplay.)
The gateways are the only way for outsiders to access the world within the island. To enter the gateway, you must must first get past the Gate Guardian, a gijinka that can be any pick from the above list. The guardian will either attempt to stop you, eat you where you stand, sleep on the job, play mind games to keep you at bay, or... simply let you waltz right past them, fully aware that you are a dangerous intruder that poses a threat to the island.

Once you get past the guardian, you MUST pick a gate. Some gates will be open while others will be locked. Not picking a gate will result in a random dice roll that will pick the gate for your character at your own expense. (Ex: Running right past the guard, who then chases you may result in a random roll to escape or you getting eaten if you idle too long.)

So, finally... here are the gateways.

1: Normal Gate *Just a regular gateway*
2: Minimize Gate *Your size decreases (No evasiveness boost however)*
3: Thunder Wave Gate *You are now paralyzed*
4: Toxic Gate *You are badly poisoned*
5: Gate of Embers *Ha! You better have Burn Heal!*
6: Gate of Thorns *You take damage from Spikes*
7: Gate of Grudges *Any foreign pokemon that enters loses all their PP for all their moves* Humans are unaffected.
8: Recover Gate *All pokemon are fully healed* Does not apply to humans.
9: Gate of the lazy *Any pokemon that enters now has the ability Truant.
10: The Great Gate *A bigger gateway made for giant pokemon to pass through*

After picking a gate and entering, your best bet is to get out of the wilderness and head to the town nearby. (A wise visitor will follow this advice.) Whatever is in the small village over there has to be less dangerous than what may find you if you linger too long in the tall grass. So be sure to get out of there.

Chime Town: The most peaceful village in the mirage island no doubt. With the small bells ringing and pokemon singing, it generates a pleasant aura that soothes the spirit of anyone in town, visitor or not, and allows them to relax. The atmosphere may jot fine memories of the Johto region. In fact, a Ho-oh can often be seen watching the town from the top of the bell tower. In Chime Town, even the roughest of types find their peace here. Pokemon of all kinds swarm here as a result. As a newcomer or returning visitor, this is the easiest location in the island to make friends.

Sub-sections:

Bell Tower

The Eevee Inn

Easily described as the most hospitable place in Chime Town (Aside from a real Pokemon Center.) The inn is run by what anyone would guess, Eevees. To be more specific, evolved Eevees. The responsibility of managing the inn itself usually rotates among the sisters every month. Due to the majority of the sisters finding the work to be too stressful, the role usually falls upon either the Glaceon, Leafeon, or Umbreon. The other Eevees usually take turns doing the other chores such as cooking for the guests and cleaning up the rooms.

As a guest, you'll get a few special perks if you happen to be a pokemon trainer, but I won't list all of them here so you'll have to figure out the rest yourself.

RP Notes:
¤ I'm very sorry if anyone is offended by these but to avoid unnessessary confusion, I have to point this out.

¤ If your character is not from a pokemon setting or doesn't fit well into this one, I'm sorry to say this but the roleplay options for you with this alt will be less than an alt in a pokemon setting. Yes I know it's preference but I'm trying not to make this anymore difficult than it should be.
(And if you aren't and you still want to RP, then your default status is prey. (No matter how much your character godmods.)

¤ No non-pokemon anthros. This may disturb some, but it makes sense in my eyes since there are no RL animals in pokemon... that aren't pokemon. Same for furries, because my mind won't click towards a furry mingling on this island with no proper explanation. But if that furry is a pokemon trainer, go ahead. (It'll be a LOT EASIER for me.) The pokemon trainer occupation works for any race to be honest. As long as I don't see that you're just slapping the status of "trainer" on your main alt or something like it's something casual, I'm totally fine with it.

¤ As for pokemon style furries, it depends. I largely prefer gijinkas and pokedex style pokemon. Let's say if you were a Sentret for example. A gijinka version will be completely fine, same with a normal plain looking Sentret. However... if that Sentret suddenly receives huge boobs, wide hips, an aura of lewdness and a look of lust in its eyes... I'll pass on whatever offer it gives....

¤ As for why Gardevoir is not on the available pokemon list, it is for personal reasons that I don't put one up. With one of those reasons being that it is the most common pokemon alt I see here. No other pokemon exceeds its level of being common. Ralts, Kirlia and Gallade however, I'll be happy to add if I can get some good pics.

Allowed as prey. But you might want to avoid this if you don't want to make any enemies unless you're very slick and stealthy about it. Trust me, you'll be glad you didn't.

Never/Dislike Not permadeath or anything but basically an automatic ending to a non multi-session roleplay. No permadeath as prey either if you manage to eat anyone. They'll likely either reform off-scene or never appear again in the same rp.
