"The Running Meal" is the hottest new gameshow on television! With contestants entering "the Maze", collecting and competing for prizes, money, cruises, and all manner of other incentives all while evading the 'Hunters' whose bellies are empty and whose appetites are second to none!

Complete with continuous footage of the Meals running, jumping, crawling, and climbing their way to the marvelous prizes spread out among the four square blocks of obstacle course, the at-home audience gets to cheer on their favorite Meals as they collect their goodies and reach the finish - or watch as the losers get eaten alive and whole by our team of Hunters who were just a bit quicker than they were. Either way, it's fun for the whole family!

Also, don't forget to check out The Running Meal, Jr!, for the kids' chances to compete in a special course designed just for them to win video game systems, sports equipment, trips to amusement parks, and more! And as always, if they're not fast enough, they'll get to meet up with the hunters in the most up close and personal way possible! Several leagues exist within the shows, primarily to divide contestants into groups by age and other definitions in the interest of fairness.

The 'blue' league, for adults of average stature and fitness: Most adult contestants follow this division, unless participating in a special contest or some other thing not usually seen on TV.

The 'red' league, for the hardcore adults who are well fit or otherwise going for an extra challenge: some safeguards are relaxed in this league, and while injuries tend to be sprains and some cracked ribs, contusions or other serious injuries are more common here and in the most extreme contests even death is possible. Typically Pay-per-view TV or DVD release only.

The 'green' league, for teens 13 and up: One step down from the 'blue' league, this level of competition is designed for those who like the show and would probably qualify for 'blue' if they weren't under 18, some added safeguards help prevent injuries to flexible but not-quite-as-strong bodies.

The 'orange' league, for ages 8-12, sometimes grouped into subcategories: The youngest serious competitors go into this league; prizes usually consist of game systems and other youth-directed goods, and everyone receives a set of nice secondary prizes for participating, regardless of success. Maze elements are toned down even further: where a rock wall climb might be included in upper levels, a rope ladder workaround may be available (but out of the way) for those lacking the strength and skill to climb.

The 'purple' league, ages 7 and under: all emphasis on collecting prizes is removed, all children in this league get the same prizes without needing to find them. Easy courses and lenient Hunters encourage the kids to have fun with the chase and obstacles, and most eaten children are released three minutes from swallowing to give them additional chances and keep the emphasis on enjoying the experience. Not usually broadcast as it is essentially a playground daycare, this league helps form future generations of Meals as well as generate publicity and fundraising for worthy causes. (DVDs are available, and some people buy them, so there's little accounting for taste.)

Some of the Hunters:

A large pure white she-wolf of nine feet with a mix of yellow and blue eyes and a splotch of grey around the blue eye, Jane is a popular Hunter, often considered a favorite by those having "secret" desires to get eaten and among the Junior Leagues ("Tha' woof's gonna eat us!" "Yeah, but she's rilly nice 'bout it, and she lets ya out...") A real sweetheart, she's developed a fervent fan-base, and rumors of a DVD-special starring her get thrown about on a regular basis.

Another sweetheart fan-favorite is Leena ((Leena_Foxfire)), a tall red-furred vixen with all the enmity of a chocolate sundae. Also popular in the Junior leagues, Leena and Jane do most of the Orange and Purple league Hunting, though Meals of all ages find themselves wondering if losing some of the prizes might be worth a trip to her tummy. If foxes are your favorite, Leena is your gal!

Black-furred and fangs-bared, Rufus is the resident 'tough-guy' of the Hunters' troupe, the wolf showing a relentless drive to catch any Meals he sees, sometimes swallowing them two at a time. The ladies love him, the guys fear him, and the children watch in silent awe as Rufus finds his prey and offers no reprieve in eating them (he's rumored to dislike having to return the Meals after the show, but whether it's true or just stagecraft is a hot debate).

For those who prefer more serpentine tummies, Shalyssa is a warm-hearted naga-vixen that has a vulpine upper body and a snake lower body, able to slip through tunnels and openings bigger Hunters cannot. A newly hired Hunter, Shal is still seeking to prove herself and so she is eager to perform and can even swallow several Meals at once (though she tends to limit herself, so that those inside don't get too roughed up).

A Huntress from another planet, Jessica_Navi has joined the ranks, the tall and curvy singer and dancer has been quickly adapting to the game, and is quite eager to see what the Meals on this planet taste like!

'Guest' Hunters:
(( These Hunters are of different players than I, and so their RPs may be a bit different, but they have permission to use this setting for their own RPs so long as it's clear that it's not 'canon' (at least to my own setting and RPs), but an adaptation. But having fun is the most important thing, so enjoy! ))

Options and alternatives:
The_Running_Meal_JR is a younger-contestant version of the profile.
One alternative is a show which involves slaves or captives competing to earn their freedom, with the losers remaining slaves and being assigned to new owners and/or being eaten, of course.

OOC stuff: Most stuff done with the profile will be predatory, soft, and oral, and in most cases the contests are voluntary, so a totally unwilling character ~may~ not fit in. They may not want to get eaten as opposed to winning prizes, but if there is no way they'll allow it, an 80% consumption rate would likely keep them from participating.

The profile is intended to be wide open as far as possibilities, but some things I probably won't want to do all that much, and some things I won't do at all (scat and watersports, to give two). Anything not 100% is on the table, though the mood may go against it, or limit how often.

Most contests are for general viewing audiences, so anything not appropriate for prime time would be limited to specials.
