Meet Elizabeth, or Liz as she prefers to be called. A woman who had dreams and aspirations towards working as the head of a profitable company, retiring in a mansion at a young age, and spending the rest of her days with a beau in her arms while they explore the world and live the good life! Her name would be on billboards, giant TV screens in the bustling big cities, and she would be invted to talk shows to talk about her legacy! People would see her walk down the street and clamor for an autograph or a selfie, and Liz would be so well off that offering someone in need some money to momentarily spare them of their troubles would reinforce her delightful nature to all who knew her name... A cheerful smile attached to her eternally-gorgeous face would be plastered on magazines, printed in newspapers, and she would inspire generations of young women to chase their dreams! All it would take was a dedicated demeanor, eager ambition, and hard work just like all the inspirational videos she was addicted to said! Surely she could handle it, why couldn't she? With stars in her eyes, Liz embarked on her journey to the top of the world, and it appeared nothing could stop her! She spent years finding the -right- job to rocket her career into the stars, and it all seemed to be going just peachy when she got hired at a well-off company on the rise!
That's all well and good, isn't it? Right up until life shows you other plans and pulls you crashing back down to the ground. While Liz was still dreaming of the spotlight it started to become more and more clear that she was one in -millions- of people with the same lofty dream, and that she, while good looking, had very little else to set her apart. And so, over years and years, she struggled as nothing more than a glorified secretary at a company she wanted to run one day. Every year Liz was passed up for promotions, overlooked by her bosses, and her exemplary (in her eyes) service seemed to get her... absolutely nothing. Now she's getting close to her thirties and with nothing to show for it she's grown increasingly bored, resentful of people who have passed her up, and looking for anything to spice up her dull and boring life.
Unfortuantely for Liz, she's -not- being totally ignored, and whether she likes it or not her ambitions will likely be her undoing!
