The_Stalking_One

In ancient stone ruins, long forgotten by every living being that dwells on the planet above, a pale creature lurks. It's body is completely hairless, and though it is only around four feet tall, it can be stretched to fit itself around much larger prey. Her eyes, for in its species it would be a female, are a solid purple, and allow her sight in both the darkness of the ruins and the light of the surface. Her hands and feet have three digits on each appendage, and are covered in thousands of tiny suction cups to allow her to climb along the walls and ceiling of her ancient home. Her mouth only contains four sharp fangs, used for holding certain prey in place while she works enough of herself around them to begin swallowing. Though technically female, the Stalker has the ability to perform either role in the reproduction of her species, though her male reproductive organs are normally kept in a pouch inside her pelvis, so as not to interfere with her hunting. As her body is extremely stretchable, she is capable of taking prey in through any orifice, though it does take longer to use anything other than her mouth.

For many years, this extra-terrestrial predator was just as forgotten as the ruins in which she dwelt. Then, explorers unearthed the old structure, and released the trapped hunter. She promptly made a large meal of her liberators, before setting out in search of more food.

The Stalker prefers to, as her title suggests, stalk her prey until she has a chance to take them by surprise. Her purple tongue secrets a numbing agent that deadens the muscles underneath the skin it's applied to, allowing her to disable stronger creatures long enough to devour them whole. Her long legs are very powerful, allowing her to travel in frog-like hops even when burdened with prey.

Though the Stalker has many advantages, she is actually rather frail, which is why she must take targets by surprise. And though her body is very malleable, she still can be injured, though she can heal wounds given she has time to rest.
