"My God was a Pussy."
Artemis has always been unusual, from her long-forgotten conception, to the dire circumstances in which she travels.
Artemis was once 100%-Gardevoir, a species known to dwell within the "Sinnoh" region of a world long distant to her, one she has since been unable to reclaim for herself. For now, this Gardevoir is set onto the multiverse to find artifacts of power, so she may one day reclaim her title as "Champion".
Artemis has, as stated above, issues. Over time, she became a mix of things. Coming into contact with other words after being banished from her own gave her odd, otherworldly abilities. The ability to SHOUT like a dragon, Bend the Elements, and even Stride between worlds. All thanks to Arceus not granting her Legendary status. She totally doesn't have any particular reason for vindication, now does she?
Truths
There are a few things to acknowledge with this character. For one, she follows rules set forth in her partner's Deus Ludum, or the God's Game. Any abilities not present, or that the local deities don't want her to have- she can't use, and instead must rely on abilities present in the realm she enters.
Seldom-traveled locations
Artemis is seldom seen outside of her 'Homeworld', an abandoned Ludum, which contains the power to force into other worlds, if allowed. It is an ancient complex, very rarely traveled- unless one is one of her 'Descendants'. She seeks to power the world sufficiently, so that she may breach her way back- and topple the reign of Arceus.
VERY RARELY
will you see her in the nexus known as "The Park".
Updated World
[TW ->N ] Alright. We both know, no matter how many times I try to in-scene nerf ______ you pretty much say No- and I came to a conclusion. He is a Worldstrider- yes- but he's gathered enough power to violate a few of his "Host" worlds' laws, that is, any world he's in at the moment besides Nexus- which is indestructible and has no laws, his Home world, because how can he violate universal laws he makes? The only downside is lower than average stamina for any power he'd want to use in whatever realm besides his, or a Neutral world he enters, or one that uses the same properties as the magic or tech he wants to use. I'll elaborate on worlds in a moment.
[N -> TW] so basically half/reduced power on his abilities. I can go with that.
[TW -> N] Beings like Johnathan, The_Worldstrider herself or someone like Fo are basically Worldstriders that have lived long enough in the absorbtion/Digestion/Murder festival that is the Nexus worlds to profit and gain enough power and Pieces of World to establish their own little mini-worlds, becoming Minor Gods in that sense. That world then follows their rules that they purposefully 'Code' into it or borrow/steal/are given by another God, with God being the term to define beings that own worlds, and can limit who enters or leaves them and what abilities are unusable to minor worldstriders and at reduced strength and restricted use to visiting Gods.
[N-> TW] Hm... I see... so people who acquire enough power on Nexus can create worlds with their own rules.
[TW ->N ] To go on a little streak somewhere else, Pieces of World are accumulated when a God who owns a world is defeated by its' inhabitants, or is too fragile to survive being abandoned, either temporarily or permanently by their masters. Think Marble Chessboard being dropped on concrete, and everyone who wants a piece can scoop up the parts on the floor, to be installed as a one-time "Paste", or used as a base in their own world's construction. Basically yes, they can create and restrict access to their own world- but the larger it is, the more attention it brings, most of it bad- such as in the case someone trying to break and enter.
[ N-> TW] I see... so. If it's a dream-world, a world you desire... you need to defend it.
[TW ->N ] Mhm. Artemis, for instance, gathers all the Fighters, Mages and Great People she's "Rescued" via eggs and puts them to work in defense of her realm- which is rather easy, considering all the guards look completely the same in that circumstance.
