Theo was a former art teacher for a school in Ghanvaria until his department was dissolved in order to cut costs. Ever since, he has turned to a life of crime and grown a strong hatred for the system that favored nobility and famous businessmen. Eventually, he caught the attention of a local thieves guild called The Amethyst Roses, who took him in and sharpened his skills to a razor's edge.

Currently, he owns and runs an inn known as "King's Landing" as a front, but while he's not working, he is either plundering loot from the rich, or enjoying himself in recreational activities. Although he no longer has a career out of it, Theo still enjoys painting and the fine arts - his paitings are often hung on the walls of his inn. And although he is an outlaw, he still values and upholds his own sense of honor.

Backstory

At first, Theodore Matthye was simply an art teacher in one of the many schools within the Great Ghanvaria Republic, known mainly for its steam-powered mechanical marvels, and he was quite favored by the students. Not only was he a talented painter, his personality also gave him a soothing presence that made him approachable. However, it would all change when the school director suddenly laid him off and dissolved his entire department, citing cost-cutting as the main reason.

Being jobless was bad on its own, but the director also used his influence to badmouth Theo and spread rumors about him using questionable evidence, effectively blacklisting him from most businesses. With no family to rely on, he was forced to turn to a life of crime, stealing so he could sustain himself while gaining a strong hatred for the corrupt and greedy that put him in this position to begin with. Although his thievery had a unstable success rate, his ability to avoid being seen would catch the attention of a local guild called themselves the "Amethyst Roses".

Despite his initial hesitation, he would eventually be taken in by the Thieves Guild and trained so his skills could be polished, allowing him to participate in much grander heists with bigger payoffs. Over time, he would grow to enjoy the lifestyle, and quickly rose up the ranks to become one of the guild's best thieves. Despite his lack of magic, he remains a formidable threat thanks to his speed, his ability to perceive his surroundings, and marksmanship. However, he still enjoys the fine arts, and painting remains an enjoyable hobby of his. Perhaps beneath all of that gloom, the man that he used to be still remains...
