Short version: A magically-empowered golem seeking to expand her existence and power by experimentation! It's just that the experimentation involves a lot of fucking and consuming people.

Backstory: Things that are living, are living. Things that are dead, are dead. Even things that are undead are undead. Threnody is none of the above. She is an inanimate object brought to semi-life, a once clay model of a person imbued with the aspect of life and power by the Divine Fire. She is not the first of these alchemically created creatures, not is she likely to be the last. Her kind ape the semblance of living things, but do not truly live, nor do they have souls. Should they be destroyed, they simply cease to exist, like a candle snuffed out, and as such, most of her kind have one ultimate goal: to become human and acquire an immortal essence.

Most of them attempt to do so by complex internal alchemy. By undergoing certain life experiences, they induce an alchemical reaction on the Primal Fire, the Pyros, that animates them. With time and effort, and a bit of luck, the process eventually turns the potent-but-finite Pyros into the infinite soul.

Threnody thinks that is stupid, and she has a different approach. Eat other creatures, those that have bodies made of flesh, and make them into part of herself. Why discard the awesome power of her divinely imbued body for a human body and human soul when she could experiment in having her cake and eating it too?

Appearance:
Threnody looks like a tall sixteen-year old female, a bit over six foot two, with thick black hair that falls smooth and shiny well down her back. Her slender face and slitted, amber eyes give her a cute, predatory look despite her height. She is perhaps a bit on the thin side, but for her height she has decently large breasts, narrow waist, and swaying hips. All her limbs have a slender leanness to them, athletic and toned, as is her butt, belly, and shoulders.

Her appearance, however, can change to some extent. In a way, it already has, since this 'basic' form she wears is a substantial alteration from her original appearance. She looks human to the touch, feels human, smells and tastes human. She's added enough humans to herself over the years to almost perfectly conceal her unnatural existence. Threnody can use her knowledge of alchemy and the strange nature of her body to enact alterations, usually to change her appearance, give herself natural claws and armor for a fight, or to give herself other 'appendages' to gain advantages in more intimate circumstances.

And when nobody is looking, she bears the Yellow Sign.

As younger individuals don't recognize her odd traits as quickly, and given her own appearance, Threnody tends to hang out near schools, sometimes even enrolling as a student for a while, until she's either recognized or has added enough of the student body to her body to feel satiated.

Biology:
Threnody's internal organs are pretty straight forward, seeing as how she practically has none. Made originally of mystically imbued clay, when she converted herself to flesh, the only innards she bothered to form were a digestive and reproductive system, both of which she only has to perform her alchemical experiments on her prey. Anything Threnody eats orally is forced into her sauna-hot stomach to undergo a bizarre, painful digestion by unique alchemical acids and the rolling muscles of her gut. These acids do not kill the prey, even as they melt into a slurry of meat and softened bone, but keep them alive and aware (and possibly still screaming) as the digestion process continues. Technically, she can control this and use acids that do not cause agony, but that takes more effort on her part, so she needs incentive to bother doing so.

After this, the slurry is sent past the stomach to the intestines, where the important, useful portions of her victim's body are stripped away for their unique mystic or alchemic properties, to be added to Threnody's own body. The consciousness of her prey usually starts to fade during this time, as they fully melt down inside of her, though before passing on they'll feel parts of 'her' body as their own, feeling how they're being added to her chest or hips or pursed lips. What is left, the truly useless portions, are eliminated normally, though there is never usually too much left.

If Threnody has prepared her victim properly ( by injecting their bodies with other alchemical compounds, usually via sex), then she will also attempt to digest their soul while they are inside of her. In these cases, they soul will be separated from the rest of the body before leaving the stomach, and that immortal essence will then be exposed to the consuming, changing power of the Pyros, digested in the most painful and terrible of ways. The victim's soul will be alchemically altered, turned into something else through the crucible of Threnody's gut, and added to the golem's ongoing attempt to construct a new, perfect essence that will allow her to keep her full powers.

Theoretically, due to her alchemical control of her own physiology and her control of the alchemical processes by which her victim's souls are rendered down and destroyed, she could also reverse these and restore both the body and soul of her victim. This would require tremendous effort, though, and she'd need a very good reason to bother doing it.

Her womb works in much the same way for people shoved into it, they are usually broken down and digested for her own use, but as an experimenter, she has been known to do other, more odd alchemical reactions to prey unbirthed. These range from minor alterations for curiosity, to major conversions, like race, gender, or age of her victim. She has a fondness for occasionally unbirthing males only to turn them into females, then to rape those females with an alchemically created penis or tentacle, then to vore them to digest their soul. As a female, she is under the impression female souls and bodies work better for her long-term goals. Theoretically, Threnody could convert someone else into a golem like herself, by consuming their soul while altering their body, but one time she attempted the experiment she got greedy and consumed her test subject utterly.

Thanks to her alchemy, she can provide herself with a handful of tentacles (three maximum) or a cock, all of which she can treat alchemically to produce either strange acids or elixirs, or to create potent, fully-functional sperm. As part of her ongoing experiments, she has fathered several children (and bore one, just to try it out). While those all ended in inevitable failure of some kind, she's still willing to continue such experiments, and will occasionally spare the life and soul of someone who agrees to carry one of her children to term. Or she might consume them anyway afterwards. Or during, if she decides there's no worthwhile outcome to the experiment.

Similarly, because of how powerful the Pyros is and Threnody's advanced knowledge of alchemy relating to her own body, she is very tricky to keep dead. Unless nearly all of her is destroyed (give or take 90% eradicated), she can use the blaze of the Pyros to rebuild her body at the cost of some of those souls she's added to herself. The difficulty to rebuild herself is based heavily on how she was 'killed,' as neither electricity nor fire can harm her anymore (she has learned to extract the Pyros energy from these elements), and piercing or bludgeoning forces are less effective on her only semi-living flesh. Being digested is one of the few ways to endanger her existence, so she is very cautious about other predators, always worried one might manage to finish the job and eradicate her before she can conclude her magnum opus and become truly immortal and invincible.
