Tin_Man

Overhead the dragon soars, its gender indeterminate. While the large wingspan and long neck and tail cast its shadow upon the populace, once they realize which one it is, they turn and go about their business. It asks for nothing, threatens no one, fights only in self-defense, and in general has seemed indifferent or perhaps totally ignorant of the smaller beings below, leaving maidens, livestock, and villages be.

If it has ever shared its own name, no one remembers, instead calling it only by a name plucked from a tale, fable, or just something someone made up, and it stuck.

Tin Man.

Some have sought to slay it for its hide, and failed. Some have looked for its lair, and found nothing. Some have even happened upon it in the wild, and couldn't even get it to look their way.

Why is out there? What does it want? Why does it seem to ignore all mankind?

Who cares? At least it's not ravaging and eating everybody, right?

Mostly after endo stuff and either possession or some adoptive/protective theme, not everything is revealed above but Tin Man can change size shape and appearance, even within its belly, providing whatever environment is needed for those within it.

And yes, even though it's referred to as Tin Man, it gender is indeterminate and may even be able to change from one to another.

Possibilities for meeting Tin Man:

1. Happening upon it while lost, exploring, or in dire need of food, warmth, shelter, etc.

2. Being left as a sacrifice for Tin Man despite it not asking for one, leaving the offering to either be eaten or otherwise die of exposure or neglect. Upon finding her, it accepts the sacrifice but for its own reasons.

3. A situation which involves someone needing to be "saved" from something and Tin Man intercedes, appearing to merely take the prey for itself and thus not endearing itself to the prey; as the prey realizes what it did, the possibility for a bond increases.

4. A researcher studying it has, for some reason, seemed to elicit a response from the dragon (in perhaps a wacky or unfortunate/embarrassing circumstance), and so she or the ones she works for try to recreate the circumstances trying to figure out what it was that got it to respond.

Female or underage prey preferred most times, there's wiggle room in most of the sliders all the way to one side, and if nothing else go ahead and say hello, I enjoy talking to people.
