Meet Traxa, a dragonhuntress, well, it's not like there are a lot of dragons left to fight, but it surely sounds better than, pest control, and on top of that she did in fact hunt down one dragon, her father.
Her father was a dragon? Yes, of course, idiot, or why do you think did she get that old, or why she's that heavy and tall?
Anways I should explain the circumstances under which she was born, her father was a pretty badass dragon, living in a nice tower and ruling/terrorizing the people living there, what was admittedly pretty normal at that time, only instead of a cut from the yield, he asked people for gold and a virgin every 3 months, considering the times, it was pretty hard to get the gold and even harder to find a virgin at a decent age. One of those virgins was her mother, with one difference to the other girls, after he turned into his human form in his tower, what people didn't even know that he could do that, he raped her but other than with the other girls Traxa's mother ran away while he was shifting back into his dragon form. She didn't even know how she managed to get out there alive, but some of the villagers smuggled her out of the dragon's area who was of course searching for her, but since he didn't want to tell people that someone had escaped, to not loose the respect people were having.
So only a few people got to know about her mother's escape and they didn't do anythng to spread the rumors, knowing that the dragon's spies were everywhere. Her mother found a new place to live at as a maid for a wealthy farmer but when her belly slowly started growing she knew that the dragon had left something in her. During the following 14 months, she tried to get rid of the baby, yes 14 months, you got that right, for the last month she couldn't even move anymore and when the day had come to give birth, the baby, Traxa was too big to come out the natural way and let's say, the midwife was terrified when she saw the woman's belly beeing ripped open from the inside and the tiny Traxa climbing out.
Of course her mother died during that process and the first reaction that people had to this little child with it's sharp teeth, claws and a tail, was to drown it in the river in the presence of a priest who exorcised the little demon.
But little Traxa did fight for her life and while she almost drowned she somehow managed to get out of the leather pouch they did put her in, her claws were really sharp. Somehow she managed to survive and the first 8 years of her life she spent in the forrest, hunting like an animal with the little difference that she ate her food whole most of the time when she didn't tear her prey apart. At the age of 9 her hunting area expanded further and did now include a human village, finding it pretty easy to sneak intot heir houses she had some pleasant weeks before she met Trish, a child who wasn't initially scared of her and started to talk to her, this of course got her curious, usually people were screaming at her and using hands and feet they started some sort of odd conversation.
Pretty much confused she left before sunrise and without having a meal, Traxa who was already standing at 5'2'' at that time watched herself in the river's clear water recognizing that she looked like those people she's been eating lately and even more like that girl she had met.
The following night she returned hungrily to the village and before sneaking into the girl's house broke into their henhouse eating every of the chicken in there. With her belly quite bloated she then went into Trish's room where they started talking again, Trish didn't seem to be scared at all by the taller girl even though Traxa looked pretty wild and dirty at that time, after years in the wild, what would you expect? Well, they had one mayor setback in their relationship when Traxa ate her parents one night, Trish didn't want to speak to her for a month and after that, when Traxa managed to find her in the house she was now living in, she was still pretty upset.
With all the words she had learned and everything she knew, she just didn't get the whole point with parents and relationships, that you shouldn't eat some people. Well, obviously she had figured that Trish was pretty helpful and nice and so she didn't eat her, cause you can only eat things once. As more time passed, people started to get suspicious though about the increasing number of vanishing people and one night they almost managed to catch Traxa. After the following night she moved away from the village, with a rather unwilling Trish who she simply kidnapped and dragged into the woods where she forced her to live with her, or at least she wanted to do that, Trish however convinced her that it would be possible to live in a village if Traxa behaved and stopped eating humans, or at least, not stuff herself silly every night. So the girls moved into a city, Trish, who had was a decent tailor managed to find a job in a huge household where Traxa applied as maid. Of course that wasn't the best idea and after a lot of broken and torn stuff she was sent to accompany hunters. Somehow Traxa managed to not eat too many people and they had a pretty decent life until Traxa's father claimed the city for his territory, Traxa and Trish who were at the age of 17 that time, meaning that Traxa could easily snack on men trying to get her into bed as well as to protect Trish, was sent among the other hunters and city guards to try to bring down the dragon. This always seemed to happen when a dragon first approached a town, and usually this issues were dealt with a breath of fire, but when there was a demi dragon among those hunters, things could get a little difficult.
To make things clear, her leather clothes and almost everything else she was wearing did burn away as well as the group of people, but she turned out to be fire-proof and while the dragon was still looking rather baffled she had already chopped his head off. Crafting herself a decent armor from the scales, or rather a whole set of armors as well as a weapon made from the bones. she was now pretty famous especially among the men and a few women who had watched naked Traxa slaying the dragon. After that, Traxa was promoted to a knight with a small castle while the king got the whole area that was under tha dragon's control. A pretty good deal. Within the next two years Traxa was fully grown and she even started not to hide her claws anymore.
The following years Traxa and Trish had a very good life, Trish married, Traxa secretly continued to eat people and while Traxa stopped aging Trish got old had grandkids and died wealthy and happy. Having prepared for this over the years, Traxa dealt with it rather good, meaning she devoured a few people to feel better before going on with her life. Of course this life eventually came to an end when people managed to find out about her true nature and she had to flee to a tower that she had built deep in the woods, where she kept her most important stuff such as her armor and weapons. Well days and years went by and people started to forget about her, Traxa regularly visited some villages, disguised, of course, had herself some humans, earning money with 'pest control'. So yeah, not much did change to this day. She's still hungry as hell and likes to have some fun and in general do whatever she wants.
