Tre can be played at various stages of his life: - 12-16 years old: A coppersmith apprentice in his home village - 16-20 years old: Wandering coppershmith journeyman with an inventive inclination - Early twenties: Adventurous wanderer, proficient smith and tinkerer - Late twenties: Learned how to magically enhance his creations - Mid thirties: Owns a sizable workshop with luxurious living quarters above it Even as a child Tre has always been more inquisitive than most of his peers. He was one of the few children who became proficient in reading and writing, mainly to be able to read the books in his teacher's home. At around 12 years of age he started to learn the trade of coppersmithing. In the following years he was often reprimanded by his master as he gave in to creative impulses and wasted material to create strange and usually non-functional apparatuses. Nevertheless, his talent for smithing was obvious, and after just a few years his master told that there was nothing he could still teach him. Thus at around age 16 Tre set out to explore the world, and refine his craft. In the following years he took several apprenticeships, and became proficient in other types of white smithing as well. During his time, he also never stopped trying to come up with new apparatuses, and they became more and more useful. By his early twenties, many of his steampunk-ish creations were actually useful in some way or another, and had gotten a small circle of admirers. He makes a pretty penny by selling them, and had a quite pleasant life style. His most fateful encounter in his life so far was in his mid-twenties when he met a certain mage. They taught him how he could use many crystals to either power or enhance his creations. Thanks to that the possibilities and utility of what he could craft increased tremendously, and he became one of the most sought-after smiths and tinkerer. By his thirties, he had made enough money to open his own sizable workshop with fairly luxurious living quarters above it. Throughout his life his other passion besides crafting and tinkering was exploring old ruins, abandoned castles and other such places. Even though he knew the chance was slim, the thought of being able to discover forgotten artifacts or knowledge highly motivated him.
