7. BIO

Tsuyu always stood out as being "not from around here," even in caravanserai full of other travelers. Her face was distinctly foreign, and fluency had not totally wiped her accent from afar. She carried herself with the politely aloof attitude of a wanderer, always poised to move on – there was always "somewhere else" for her. It was anyone's guess where she came from: when asked, she would only flash a knowing smile and reply cryptically, "East."

Pretty, exotic, and mysterious, Tsuyu was the dinner-table topic wherever she stopped. Where she came from, what drew her to the road, where she was going...she'd never tell, so she made for good gossip. As long as she stayed somewhere, she occupied the locals' fantasies. But though she was perfectly polite, Tsuyu's life on the road did not lend well to lasting relationships. To her, people were like the landscape – merely things to pass as she traveled down her path. And so, because of her distance, she was only ever a passing curiosity for others, too. When she moved on, few remembered her for more than a week.

Her skillset reflected her solitude: a skilled swordswoman, expert archer, and competent elf-magician, Tsuyu had the jack-of-all-trades flexibility of one expecting to face the unknown alone. Those skills and her professional attitude made her attractive to plenty of parties, but she never stayed with any for long. One sensed she saw her prestigious Guild membership as more of a convenient arrangement than some noble duty. The Guild gave her a pin to flash for food and board; in exchange, she had only to dirty her sword a few times before continuing down the road. A Scout was always needed somewhere else, after all...and that suited her just fine.

PART II - REGISTRATION & ADVENTURER APTITUDE TEST

8. PROCTOR REMARKS

Brilliant applicant. Near-flawless swordsmanship of a unique style...I've not seen these techniques before. Excellent archery. And, all the standard elf-magic.

Language may be a problem(?). She asked quite a bit about the perks of being a Scout, and I had to explain about the room/board discounts in great detail...perhaps she didn't understand?
