The Hero Of Light, Link; Or, The Link Between Dawn And Twilight; Or, Alternatively, Link Does What Mario Nintendon't

The faraway land of Hyrule has had many heroes throughout its existence. From the age-shifting exploits of the Hero of Time, to the maritime, sea-faring antics of the Hero of Winds, Hyrule has been protected from evil by its different champions, who have risen up whenever they are needed. They are each chosen to carry the Spirit of the Hero by the Golden Goddesses, creators of many worlds, omnipotent and eternal, to defend the lands of Hyrule that have risen to try and take the throne by force. Each and every Hero of Hyrule has proven to be similar to their predecessors; sometimes, they are even related by blood. As if to further drive the similarity deeper, all of the heroes share the same name: Link.

They are all tales of legend. Remarkable, incredible individuals, of unparalleled courage, bravery, dedication and power. But, even among these remarkable individuals, the "Hero of Light" has proven to be...unique.

Link is a courageous, heroic and powerful young man who began life as a humble wrangler in a small village outside of the Kingdom of Hyrule, and grew to become the legendary hero who restored light to the Kingdom of Hyrule. While his constant silence can be off-putting at first, behind his silence and his piercing blue eyes, is a warm and loving soul, resolute and willing to do anything to help everyone around him with anything they may need; the legendary Hero of Twilight is not above dedicating an entire day to helping a complete stranger when he's not too busy dealing with threats to the Kingdom of Hyrule; always willing to use his strength and valor to help those around him. Humble, yet brave. Powerful, yet modest; Link is a brilliant example of the quintessential hero.

This doesn't change the fact that he can be a huge goofball, or the fact that he's very fond of sleeping in, though.
