Kai's life was one like most teenage girls. She hanged around girls, dated boys and tried to do her best at school. But the similarities with normal girls ended there. As an umbreon, Kai followed on the family traditions of treating espeon people as inferior to them. Around people, Kai tended to be social and open, although quite pushy in her interaction with people. But when an espeon crossed her path, things went down quite quickly. If they were a boy, she would forcefully try to date them, sometime leading to the boy mysteriously vanishing. If they were a girl, they would be in for some harassing.
Espy was one of such victims, but things ended up radically different for her. They met at the age of 12, when both girls were in the same class. Back then, Espy used to have a different name, but that changed when Kai got her hands on her. Having noticed how good she was at school and how shy she was, Kai decided that this girl would make the perfect servant. One day after school, Kai waited for the girl after the school, calling her Espy rather rudely and threatening her to hurt her if she didn't do her homework. The girl did and as the months went by, Kai got attached and made a deal with her. In exchange for eternal service, the girl would get a simpler life would things were easier and more enjoyable. The girl accepted simply to keep Kai on her good mood and surprisingly enough, Kai kept her promise. The newly named Espy was taught how to dress better and how to be more social, while obeying to any of Kai's requests. By the end of their high school years, Espy's life had become exactly what Kai had promised it would be and she willingly decided to stay at Kai's side when they went to college.

Today, both girls are 19 year old and studying at a local college in the Park. They may or may be seen together, but if they are, expect Espy to do anything Kai ask of her and nothing more. If they are alone, Kai will generally be quite dominant in her friendships and seek instant results, even if it means using some of her umbreon magic. Espy will generally be calmer, shyer and reluctant to do anything too dangerous or different from what she knows. While she excels at school, she is not ambitious in achieving her goals, preferring to stick to what Kai had chosen for her.
RP-wise, Kai is both a prey and a pred. She can use magic that allow her to grow or shrink people and mind control psychics, something she often do with Espy and is eager to do with anyone she consider worth her time… although that may not be a good thing for her target. Espy is often prey, sometime found around tiny after Kai played with her. Both girls are "officially" straight, but the years spent together made them explore a different kind of sexuality, so they may be open to girl on girl action. They will only do so in private and, in Espy's case, only if Kai agreed on it.
