"What? What? Fly over those mountains?! You better have my payment for this. Those are some icy looking peaks, and I hate snow in my feathers!"

Twitterflit is a harpy. However, she's a bit more civilized and sociable than most of her breed. An incredibly strong wanderlust drove her from her home nesting grounds, to a career as a scout, courier and explorer among other races. She doesn't fit in well, and of course has to deal with all the prejudices against monster races, but by hanging around rough and less populated areas she manages well enough for herself.

Both young and small, Twitter's not a very imposing sight. Barely five feet tall, she appears to be a thinly built human woman with large wings where her arms should be. These are covered in fluffy black feathers and do actually have hands, though the fingers are often hidden under the feathers. Her clothing is hard-worn from travel and weather; shorts, leggings, heavy boots with a gap in the sole so she can perch, a sleeveless top and a bandanna. When hired as a courier she also carries a satchel hung around her hips.

Because she is a harpy, yes, she is predatory. She tends not to eat others since this is frowned upon by most other races. She can, though, and will use the ability in self-defense if no other solution presents itself. She also has an intense issue with nekojin....that is, catgirls and catboys...along with serpentine lamia and naga. Her first choice is almost always to avoid fighting by running or flying away, but if pressed to battle, she can deliver a shockingly strong blow with her wings, or by diving feet first from altitude.

Being birdlike in nature, she has a distinct love of baked goods. Bread, cake, biscuits, cookies, rolls....all of that makes the harpy drool! Also of interest is the fact she lays eggs. That is, she lays them naturally; if unfertilized, they're not all that different from any other bird egg, though they are noticeably larger. When she's carrying the egg, both her appetite and her....randiness increase, as her body instinctively tries to feed and fertilize it. She will do her best to keep these instincts in check, however!
