Vaako was once a powerful angel, back before the fall. Many in Heaven were shocked when she chose to give up her grace, esteem, and purity for free will. After having a taste of it, after walking amongst the humans briefly, she couldn't get enough. The few short decades she spent on earth were filled with mindless self-indulgence. She cared little about anyone around her.

After she and her other fallen brothers and sisters were sealed in hell, she became obsessed with any and all missions that involved leaving and going back to the surface. The higher-ups, ones that were once beneath her in Heaven, wouldn't allow her to rise to greater power in hell until she decided to work with them. However, her constant insubordinate behaviour was... troublesome, to say the least.

A task that should take a week, she would spend a month on. This was only to revel in the feeling of having a body to move in; of being able to do as she pleased again. She enjoyed how powerful she felt amongst the humans. Her stalling and poor work ethic brought her punishment, but she always felt it was worth it. Centuries passed and she began to slowly build up her powers; thirsty for more time out of hell. She wanted her own body; she wanted the feelings to be her own without having to worry about the presence of another person's being trying to force her out of them.

A couple more centuries passed and she succeeded; creating the glorious vessel from parts she had harvested from the purest of maidens. Of course, her demonic essence tainted it, but the entire thing was hers and hers alone. No other consciousness, none able to command her out of the vessel... She would be free to go wherever she pleased-- to do whatever she pleased.

She loved every inch of it; she loved feeling new sensations that were hers and hers alone to feel. She would never go back to being that ghastly sulfur-scented cloud of being that was forced to possess and borrow bodies. No, this one was for her. It was special.
